The magnifying glass with lights is probably the best part of this set, it does a really good job at magnifying the card and with the lights I can see the print marks on my pokemon cards.The sleeves are pretty basic, nothing special really but it's a nice inclusion.The alignment checker does help but it's annoying to use and get aligned in the first place. They have an instruction sheet but using it concerns me because trying to get the plastic sheet alightment tool aligned to the corner of the card I end up sliding it along the cards surface, so I would recommend sleeving the card before you try. Overall the alignment too will help it's just annoying.Everything else like the gloves and cloth are okay.Really the best part of this is the magnifying glass with lights.

There were no directions on how to use. It eventually took its place amongst the other useless gimmicks stored in the deepest shadowy depths of our cabinet. The white gloves were a nice gift that will never see my hands.

This is a fun tool to use with kids as they love to guess and celebrate card ratings for cards they encounter. When I am not helping a student with it to boost their engagement I use it for myself to grade my personal cards. This tool helps me decide which cards to submit for grading as it can be very expensive and time consuming.The kit has everything I need to handle the card and more if you wish to wear the gloves and clean the spyglass with the cheese cloth. The glass is clear and very sharp. It helps with the grading process and is an appreciated addition to the kit. I have seen judges at tournaments use these glasses to ensure the printing is legitimate and not a proxy or fake printing of the card.All in all this is the compete setup you need to do your own grading.

Main draw of this set are the magnifying glass and centering tool. Magnifying glass works well, especially with the LED light, to let you see and examine the condition of surfaces and edges. Depending on the design of the card, centering guide can be a lil tricky to use in determining whether it's centred or not. A little misleading to advertise it as a 103 piece set cause you're essentially getting 5 things: the centering guide, the magnifying glass, the gloves, the cleaning cloth, and 1 pack of 100 sleeves.Good set for doing a pre-eval of your cards to help you decide whether or not they are worth sending in for grading.
