The bottom light was not working so I opened it up and adjusted the position of the wires until the light worked. Then taped the wire in place. I wish the interchangeable eye pieces were secured in place instead just sitting on top of the holder. The eye pieces fall off when I would move/tilt the scope.Everything else about it is great.

Ive looked at my own drop of blood using this microscope and it is pretty good piece of equipment. My phone have difficulty focusing and generally doesnt make good pics but the view was excellent with naked eye. I was able to see my blood cells moving.

I love this microscope so much. I bought 2 before this and returned them. The first claimed to be 1000x, but the magnification sucked on it. The second didnt have LED screen and i hate looking through the tiny monocular scope. This one has the ability to have LED (your phone) and is awesome because you can record what you see too. The added phone attachment worked well. Although i had to hold the phone upside down or the weight of my huge plus size phone would weigh it down so much it blocked half my view. Holding it upside down fixed this.So 5 out of 5 stars. excellent magnification. I can see one celled protozoa's and bacteria and algae with ease.

My granddaughter struggled for about an hour and finally had me come look at her microscope. The "as is" condition was related to the eyepiece inserted (the WF25X eye piece). When I replaced it with the other eyepiece, everything worked fine. The WF25X eyepiece when held up to the light revealed square shaped crystals in the field of view, so it was likely dirty, or damaged. It should be replaced with one that is not defective. Once I get a replacement, I will upgrade my review score!

I bought this microscope to study spark plugs. Picture was taken and resized using a Samsung A71 placed on the provided phone support. (I found that placing the supplied phone mat above the eyepiece gripped the phone better than placing it below. I used voice control to snap the picture of what a REAL NGK Iridium tipped sparkplug is supposed to look like. You can see the welded tip of the hard wearing material. Fake Iridium NGK's use steel core electrodes that are simply machined down to look like an iridium tip and seldom work or last.I realize this was overkill, but this microscope was affordable, well engineered, easy to use and I buy a lot of spark plugs.

Was asked to pick out a microscope for under $100 for a gift for my nephew. This seemed like a good quality deal. When I actually saw it in person and got to use it, I decided to get one for myself. It’s high quality and functions at a high level.There were no instructions on how to use it and it comes with glass instead of plastic slides. So I spent about 15 minutes talking my nephew through it. He had been unable to on his own and had broken a slide (always remember to start your table high then focus down and lower the table all the way down before changing magnification). Since then he’s been looking at mold and hairs and loves it. I love knowing that he has something of good quality that works really well and will last a long time. Can’t wait until mine arrives.

My kiddo bought it. He’s in a microscopic photography class. We all end up using it, looking at all kinds of things! Great for my family to get our faces out of our phones and lessen some interesting things. The kit with the slides and accessories was a huge bonus. We love it.
