I did the 'magnet test' on this set of 304 Stainless Steel washers. There is a bit of magnetic attraction (I expected a little bit, but this was slightly more, so I rated it 4 stars). I will keep and use these washers even with a bit more magnetic attraction than I expected. I do NOT expect them to rust. I see some people giving low ratings because some of the washers are so small... well, if you order small washers (and there are plenty of small ones in this kit), then you get small washers. Just because their fingers can't pick them up should NOT reflect negatively on this kit. Some people complained that some washers were thinner than they should be. I found all the washers to be of the appropriate thickness. They may be slightly better machined on one side than the other (slightly chamfered, probably from the punch). but both sides are smooth and acceptable for any project.

I purchased these to go with my set of small MM and M4 screws. They work well together. When I install Tv's to wall mounts they are my go to. They have a wide selection of sizes and hole radius. They are also small enough to fit the small screws. Nice inexpensive set. Good quality and very cost effective.

The washers themselves are as washer-y as one would want. The problem is the container they arrive in. It’s adorable with all of its little compartments designed to segregate each washer type. The downside is quite literally the downside. If you flip the container over, all the washers scramble to find a new and better compartment like a chaotic game of four corners. You might think, ‘well I just won’t flip it over’ which is reasonable, or rather it would be reasonable if it wasn’t first sent through the postal system which does not care which way is up. Oh and also the container too broke when I opened it. If you don’t need a specific size washer, or if like me, you are wonton and irreverent with your washer choices, this is a good buy. If you are a precision washer-er, this is not a good option for you until Amazon can fix gravity.
