Grey hair here. I'm not as confident on the stairs as I used to be. These foldable laundry baskets allow me to safely transfer my laundry to and from the basement. One hand for the basket handles, the other for the banister. I couldn't do this with a hard plastic basket.The foldable baskets appear to be sturdy, but I just bought them recently so their longevity has yet to be proven. A heads up: the folding mechanism has a very strong spring, so be careful when unfolding. I haven't tried to refold them.

These are awesome! Lightweight, huge capacity, side pockets, exactly as described. Make sure you've had caffeine before removing the strap. These blow up in size like something out of the movie "Sleeper". I'd definitely repurchase them.

Despite paying careful attention while unfolding (the Spring in them is strong - be careful!) I cannot for the life of me get them to fold back up. Oh well. They do fold into flat rectangles pretty easy, just not the small round shape it came in.
