From my experience and from reading the reviews I hoped this product would be what I was looking for making my masks fitting well around the nose and fog free for people wearing glasses. Unfortunately I am very disappointed as it does not work well at all. I have used other solutions, including the long plastic wires that sometimes are used to secure new baby toys and other toys in their original boxes (which have actually worked the best so far) and a jewelry making metal wire (2nd best). This one does not bend well at all around the nose bridge (it is too weak/ too much plastic and a wire that is too weak/thin) and is therefore unsuitable for making a mask that fits well around the nose, keeping the air from flowing through there and fogging your glasses.

This is the best product I have found for nose wire in my home made masks. I put in a wire channel so wire can be removed when washing and easily reinserted after they are cleaned. Very durable, light weight and really hold their shape once adjusted for a nice secure fit. I have re-ordered and will continue to order from this vendor.

I bought this wire to sew into reusable cloth masks. It forms a nice fit around the nose and holds its shape well. The flatness of the double wire is key to retaining its shape, and also, as a nice bonus, the ends don't poke one in the face with the ferocity of a single wire. If you've been there, you know.

I took a chance on this because I read a review that it was like a glorified twist tie. Wrong! These are nice and sturdy, and thinner than similar products I have tried (easier to sew in seam without breaking a needle). I love working with it and am glad I bought a lot.

I have been using these for nose bridges on the masks that I’ve been making....like a crazy person...350 and counting! Anyway, cut these with a basic wire cutter at 3” and I made a casing that was slightly less than 1/4” and it fit inside perfectly!! While inserting it into the casing, the wire would bend but I was able to straighten it with no problem and couldn’t feel the “bends” in the wire where I had bent it. It’s a whitish flat plastic strip with a thin wire running along each side. Try and cut the wire at a straight angle. Otherwise if you cut it on a angle the wires can poke through the material as you guide it in. I also used it to help stake my tomato plant!

Great bargain! Heavy duty and much stronger than the average garbage ties. Great for the nose bridge of facemasks. Will also use this in the garden.
