We had a polebarn foundation we had to pour but needed to of course tie our rerod for stability and strength. we have been doing it by hand in the past and its a total pain. we have also had various tools and I have found that they either dont spin very well (too tight of a drilled hole in the handle) OR alot of them wear down and start causing slivers and/or blisters. This set came with a neatly prepared roll of ties, a pair of gloves and TWO tying tools so two people could work at the same time and at the same or similar speeds. No blisters or struggles with the tools, they spun effortlessly so to speak. -needed minimal effort and no friction resistance. we tied quite a few rather tight and none of the ties broke. they did rust a minor amount after some iight rainfall moved through before the concrete was poured but that was only in the section where they were twisted as the coating gets broke down during that process. but none were compromised to the point that they broke or needed replaced. they worked as intended and our foundation was approved and poured!

I an definitely not a concrete guy. More of a concrete novice. But I do know that I have the option of tie wires or, welding for my reinforced concrete projects I have coming up in the future. With the right type of rebar for the welding option of course. So, when I noticed these being offered on the VINE program by AccEncyc, that pretty much made up my mind as to which process I would be using for rebar construction. By the looks of it, these ties will save me both money and time as they are very easy and quick to install with the supplied twisting tools. Honestly, I have never used a winding tool like the pair that comes with this kit. I normally just fight with some pliers. So, I was a bit apprehensive at the thought of using the tools with absolutely no experience. Ha, I was worried for no reason. They are so easy to use, I was using them like a professional in literally SECONDS! All in all, at just under $35, these are a great deal for me. I can save the expense of using the weldable rebar. And I can also save the time I would have spent dragging out my little MIG welder to make, basically, a bunch of expensive tack welds. Plus, if I make some mistakes due to my inexperience, I can just pop the ties off with a pair of cutters and correct my mistakes! These ties sure seem to be a great deal all around. I am even looking forward to the concrete projects I have planned now. Thanks AccEncyc, for offering a quality product at a very reasonable price! I an positive many others will find this kit to be a great deal also.

Got these to help work on some on-going projects. These seem to be sturdy and well made for the purpose. I like the fact that the tools to use them also come with them and the gloves too. This should help with further concrete and such. A recommended buy.

Overall they did do the job but I noticed that I had a lot of trouble getting into a rhythm and the tool didn't really want to twist the without using a second hand to get them started. Once started if you overtightened just a little they would shear off a bit too easily.
