These are higher quality than you find at the hardware store and the price is much much lower. Perfect for a home climbing gym.

T-nuts for climbing holds worked without issue. This was the 2nd time I have purchased these. I had about 2-3 of the 100 not take a bolt once they were up but this is an acceptable failure rate. I painted my wall and used golf tees for about half and styrofoam caulk backing rod plugs for the other half to ensue paint didn't get into the nuts. Don't ever use golf tees. After painting I left them in and they were all stuck. Had to gently chisel some out. The styrofoam caulk backing rod from home depot worked awesome. Cut a 3/8" plug using 1/2" caulk backing rod.

These worked great to add extra holds on our kid's indoor rock wall. We basically made a grid of holes in plywood and put T-nuts behind every hole, so we can move the holds around wherever.I didn't do anything fancy to install them- like bolting it down with wood spacers and washers, etc, etc. I simply drilled the right size hole, held a small block of wood on top, and hammered them into place into the 3/4" plywood. I figure they'll sink into the wood more once a hold has been tightened into them, until then they aren't going to fall out.Great product- exactly what I needed! They're pretty heavy duty- not all thin and chintzy.

Just finished a rock wall and these worked great. I wished they had nuts that covered the entire 3/4" plywood, leave about 3/8" of in inch inside. Three things I learned. 1) wait until after you paint or stain the wall to put these in . I had poly in a few of these that fouled up the threads. 2) don't install in a straight line, not a good configuration for a wall. Drill alternate rows staggered. 3) make sure you can replace them occasionally you can over tighten the holds sometimes and strip the nut. But these are serving their purpose really well so far.

I bought a couple extra packs of these so I had lots of options when I finished my daughters climbing wall. They are inexpensive and easy to install, however I would suggest being careful when you are drilling the holes for them. If you push too hard you can blow out the back side of the hole where these mount and then its harder to get solid penetration.

Great product for 1/10th of the price at hardware stores. Built an indoor climbing wall using these and appears very sturdy. Can easily hold 200 lb adults and kids. Every nut was in good shape and worked well with bolts and holds from another company. Not sure how they would work outdoors, but perfect for indoor use.

Fast shipping, showed up in just a couple days. They are quality T-nuts and work great on the home climbing wall. Best price if you are looking for just a few extra T-nuts to build a feature or add onto your wall. If building a wall buy the larger quantity packs as there is substantial cost savings.
