  • ✔️CLIMB HIGHER - Practice makes perfect. Increase your back, arm, core, forearm, and finger strength by training at home. Climb higher and complete harder routes and boulder problems!
  • ✔️YOUR PORTABLE CLIMBING GYM - Can't wait to go climbing again? Neither can't we. Which is why we had to release our own Survivor training board. Feels just like the holds at your local climbing gym. But a little nicer, a a lot more fresh, and available on-demand!
  • ✔️POCKET HANG ON THE WAY OUT - Mount the board above your bedroom doorway. Drop a 30 second pocket hang every time you're leaving the room. Or hang it in your garage and do the same thing on the way in.
  • ✔️EASY INSTALL - Your Survivor fingerboard comes with all the screws you need to mount it. If the mounting holes align with the studs in the wall, you're golden. Screw them into the studs, and you're all set. If they do not align, you will need to purchase a plywood backer which you will mount to the studs. Then mount the hangboard to the plywood.

If you're anything like us, you want to be climbing all the time. That's why we finally released our own hangboard!
Our hangboard is made out of the same, durable materials, that are used to make the holds at your local rock climbing gym. It comes with the hardware you need to mount and you can always reach out to us at any time if you need help!

The Hangboard is a decent training tool for building finger and forearm strength. It offers various holds for grip training, which is great for climbers. However, I found it to be a bit bulky and difficult to set up for certain workouts. While it’s functional, I feel that the overall quality could be improved, especially in terms of comfort during use. It’s effective, but not the best option out there for the price.

This is a really well-made training equipment. Small and comparatively cheap it's an excellent way to train your grip and finger strength.

Both my husband and oldest son are avid climbers and have told me that this hangboard is great for increasing their finger strength for hanging. It was easy to install, and they use it almost daily.

This is a nice piece of kit for general fitness, or specifically rock climbing training, at a reasonable price. However, if you're installing this in a house in the US, plan on getting additional hardware, specifically a nice piece of 3/4" plywood roughly 36"x8" to fit cover the width and height of the board across 3 studs in your house. They tell you to use the attached 4" screws to mount the board into the studs of your home. The problem is that most homes have a standard stud spacing of 16", but none of the holes in the board are spaced at 16". Additonally, the board is ~22" wide so ideally you would be able to cover a span of 32-34" to reach 3 studs in your wall. The fall back is to drill your own holes in the board to match your studs, or buy a piece of plywood to cover the area between 2-3 studs. Now, at my local hardware store, a small piece of plywood that you can cut to size costs more than the board itself. I can get a big 8x4' piece of plywood at a big box housing depot that will set you back around $65 or you may be lucky and have a spare piece laying around. In my case, there was only one stud available that I could drill into, and it didn't line up with any of the pre-drilled holes in the board, so I drilled two new holes near the center axis of the board so that I could at least mount two screws into the stud. I then installed the provided anchors in the four other pre-dilled hole locations in the wall. However, when screwing the board into the wall, 3 of the 4 anchors came loose. I'm now realizing that these must be concrete anchors which is why they didn't stay put in my drywall. So, off to my local hardware store to get the heaviest duty drywall anchors I could find, in this case I found anchors rated for 75# each. 75x4=300 plus the two stud screws should be enough, right? Now, because the drywall at the pre-drilled locations was now compromised thanks to my mis-use of the provided anchors, I had to drill 4 more holes in the hangboard for the drywall mounts.FWIW, next time I have a construction project, I will be sure to siphon off a36"x8" piece of 3/4" plywood to reinstall this board in a more robust manner. In the meantime, I have a modicum of confidence that the 4 75# anchors plus the two 4" screws into the stud will support my 200+# frame while hanging above the bathroom door. At least I don't have too far to fall if they fail.

I was really skeptical at first given the fact that the board was only $10 when I bought it lol but it actually came in and it feels very solid. It doesn't feel weak at all and can easily support my weight.

Between the Beast+ by the same company and the Pro I find the Beast+ to have more detail work with rounded edges along all fingers holes. Each finger hole is marked with depth 20mm up to 35mm. Many types on one board to choose from. Three slopes on the top. This Beast board is heavy, weighing in at 4.685lbs. Has five mounting holes and comes with adequate mounting hardware. Find studs, header or mount plywood first. Over a door frame works great. Their current pricing is so good, I bought a second.

I have a garage with a lower ceiling and open rafters, so I had a lot of options for hanging this. Hanging it in a home you may have to mount it to a longer board and then mount that board to the wall depending on your stud layout. I had an old hangboard that was starting to shed some kind of fiber after 20 years of use. I like that this is wood so I won't have to worry about any mystery fibers later.
