I was concerned with the quality of these screws after reading other reviews. It appears that the quality problems have been addressed by the manufacturer. All the screws I received are well made. The holes are centered and the points are sharp.I have a drop ceiling in my basement. I love it as I can easily remove panels and work on wiring and plumbing. I used nails into floor joists to attach wires for hanging. These eye screws will be much easier to use in the future than what I have previously done. I am very happy with these eye screws and the quality of the parts I received.

Items appear to be fine, but the box was not protected as it was shipped in a brown paper mailing pouch. The box inside tore completely apart during transit, causing some of the screws to penetrate the paper package. I counted all the screws though and found all 100. Aside having to find another container for them now, they appear to be what I needed.

Works good. It's a good idea to predrill before you screw these in when dealing with old high grade wood or they may break.

The person pulling the order probably wasn't aware that the package only contained 20 pieces. It was over-labeled with a sticker that clearly shows 100 pcs. Needs to be a better system. Be aware of this when you order them if you needed to use them right away.

The punched "eye" holes are not all centered. Some are and others are very close to the edge. During the manufacturing punching process, many of the heads became so bent they would not even fit into the ToolPro Acoustical Eye Lag Driver unless they were hammered straight. Simultaneously purchase the ToolPro Acoustical Eye Lag Driver - 2 Pack which was excellent.I returned these 3"eye lags screws and purchased Suspend-It brand from HD. World of difference!

I used 30 and had to toss over a half dozen that did not have points on them and would not start. You could drill a hole first, but should not have to. None broke so that was good. I'd say you would get 85 good screws out of the hundred pack.
