So brand new to tapping trees for syrup. Bought this kit because it has everything I thought I needed for tapping trees. It left out the most important thing. Instructions. It took me a bit to figure out the tube goes on the bag like a thermometer on one of those plastic covers it comes with.Through YouTube and blogs I figured out how to get this set up. I will update as I go. Right now the no instructions is a big deal breaker. It also has nothing to hang the bag from so I am using a bunch of zip ties around the tree.

This setup works great! This is our first time tapping trees and this kit was the perfect starter set. We used all 20 bags and plan to buy more since we have quite a bit more trees on our property. East to assemble and seems sturdy.
