How to use compasses:
Open the compasses to the radius desired for your circle.
Place the compass point on a piece of paper where you would like the center point of the circle to be.
Place the point of the pencil/lead on the paper.
Rotate the compass to mark a circle on the paper with the pencil.
Draw without lifting the point of the compass off the paper.
The rulers, protractor has been clear scaled, you can use it to measure all the thing accurately,more professional and efficient.

We ordered this into help my daughter with her art and Geometry this year in high school. But we were expecting the rulers and compass and triangle pieces to be actual size. But even though they are smaller and compact, they still do good and get the job done.

This set is exactly as described and shown in the photo. each piece is fully functionable and fits with the set, it's made with precision and care. no burrs or loose or wonky parts. fully made to be used with all standard equipment and parts, the case is snug but easy to use and not flimsy. I fully expect this to last a lot longer than I will.

This is a great little set I bought it to replace my deviders that I misplacedI was pleasantly surprised at how nice this set is for the price.I use deviders just about every day and.need ones that I can change on the fly and these do the trick. You can change them with one hand while they hold in placeLove them and highly recommend it.

After literally decades of use of a true professional set of drafting tools, that set has been misplaced in a home relocation. This set was intended as a temporary replacement so I needed the full function but hopefully avoiding the expense. The kit came with some of the screws and tightening nuts loose in the plastic case. It only took a few minutes to identify and reinstall these items. Not a big deal but one I shouldn't have had to do. Otherwise, the tools appear to be very decent and more than adequate for a backup. They physically aren't as large as my original set but for the money, a very capable backup set.
