The sponge works well and doesn’t get on the soldering tips. Stores well. When I saw the listing I thought that the hole was a flap that works to better clean the soldering iron tip and I doubted that I would ever use it but I didn’t realize that it was an actual hole. I really wish they offered the sponge without it.
