Each skein of Vanna's Choice Yarn has lovely color and patterns. Silky-soft and available in multiple pack sizes, colors, and color variations, this premium basic yarn is an essential for every collection, as it is durable, flexible, and ideal for making beautiful clothing and home items. Solid, Prints, Mist, Twists, and Grey and Silver Heathers are made from 100% acrylic. Oatmeal, Grey Marble, and Barley Heathers are made from 92% acrylic and 8% rayon. Obsidian and Graphite are made from 97% acrylic and 3% other. Solids are 170 yd. (156 m) long; Prints, Mist, and Heathers are 145 yd. (133 m) long; and Twists are 121 yd. (111 m) long. This yarn is perfect for any project or for building up a yarn supply. Our yarn is rated CYC #4 medium and works well with knitting needle sizes 7–9 and crochet hook sizes I-9 to K-10 1/2. This yarn can be dry cleaned or is machine washable in warm water. It can be dried on medium-to-low heat. This sturdy yarn can stand up to wear and will become one of your favorites when you add it to your crafting kit.

I really like this brand and have been using Vanna's Choice for my crochet projects for over ten years, maybe longer. It's some of the softest and easiest acrylic yarn I've ever used. And a good dark grey, like this one, is very hard for me to find. I'm very pleased with my purchase.

First time buyer and I am absolutely satisfied with the color, softness and simplicity of use. This yarn is thick and strong. It called for a size 6 hook, which I've not used and was just so happy that I worked up two skeins in an hour.

First of all, I love Vanna's Choice yarns. I purchased this colonial blue yarn specifically because of the band on the ball in the Ad. It's the old, or original, band that this yarn had so I thought it would also be the original yarn. Unfortunately the yarn that I received has the newer band on it.Fyi... even though the description states it's 860 109, it is actually 860 109E. The lot number is also different. Too some people that doesnt mean anything, but as a knitter, or crocheter that subtle difference is a lot if you are joining in a project such as a hat or sweater. The 109E is a slightly darker blue than the 109.Fortunately I am doing amigurumi so this yarn will still work for me. I would absolutely buy from this seller again. The only reason I gave it 4, instead of 5, stars is because they should update the picture, and description to reflect the yarn a buyer actually receives so there is no disappointment. Only a person who works with yarns would understand that frustration.
