I used this item and a band clamp. Welded the disc of the band clamp in place to the silencer. Works great!

Fits the empire exhaust on both my can ams, the 570 and the 850 and way cheaper than ordering oem. Will update if/or when they fail(spark arrestors always seem to rust out)

I bought a used older Powercore 4 and it was missing the insert. This fits right in my 1.6 exit pipe. To make it stay you will have to drill a hole for the screw.I reinforced it with a 1 to 1 1/2 copper reducer trimmed to length. The arrestor needs a bit grinding to true up the I.D. Brazed for good measure.Unfortunately it does come a bit loose because the screen is a bit smaller, but I think a good tightening once in a while will suffice.Testing perpendicular at 3 feet the screen alone drops dbs maybe 1db. The copper pipe does a bit better but I forgot to get numbers and its too annoying to take in an out.

Fitted to a DG exhaust. Looked like it would be fine. But in under a month, the screen broke. I tried to issue a warranty or a refund but the seller didn't want to replace/refund. It has poor quality welds, and therefore I do not recommend product.

Worked perfectly for 3 riding session. Wooded trail mostly 1-3rd gear 1/3-2/3 throttle. Wen to wash the bike and notice no spark arrestor. Took the cap off and saw the screen inside. I started the bike to blow out the screen. Raptor 700 may have too much exhaust flow for it.

I had to take cap off muffler put it in and re install cap. But the rangers here in California haven’t hassled me one bit over it and it’s a lot cheaper then any other options. Made the bike a little quieter but didn’t notice any change in power.

Worked perfectly! I’m a second -possibly the third- owner of a used 2005 Honda CRF450 with an aftermarket (unknown) muffler. It is most likely a FMF brand. So before I ordered, I measured the place where the spark arrestor is placed. Once I received the spark arrestor and installed it I found minor modifications needed to be made. After the spark arrestor was inserted, I found the retaining ring (originally part of the muffler) should fit by turning it around (flipping it). I did this because there is a lip on the retaining ring and will not fit with the spark arrestor inserted. Second problem was the set screw was off set by 2mm at the hole in the muffler and would not screw in the threads of the retaining ring. Where the set screw goes through the muffler, I enlarged the hole with a 1/4” drill bit whereby the screw had room to move and found the threads. In summary all the modification I needed to do is by flipping over the retaining ring and enlarging slightly the set screw hole in the muffler. The part was perfect, I would buy it again.UPDATE: After more than a few rides, no problems with the spark arrestor disintegrating, no problems seen, it is good to go!
