My kids both have parakeets who get to fly around the house often and like to perch up high. When playtime is over they use the nets to catch them (very safely and humanely) to get them back in the cages. Before these I had to stand on stools and chase them around the room, but now the telescoping nets allow the kids to take on the responsibility while I listen to the tons of giggles while they’re catching them. Better quality than the price would have you believe!

I actually use these nets for dipping leaves from around the edge of my pool. I love the telescopic handle and they will last me a long time.

Absolute made in China JUNK. Is this stuff engineered by a toddler? JUNK! All 3 nets fell apart (see pic) in less than 30 minutes! JUNK! Waste of money! DO NOT BUY!!! The extension are flimsy aluminum. The shafts fall apart when extended. They are held together by little metal pieces (see pic) that are not secured to the poles so they just pop out! The net is about the size of a hand (see pic) so you can’t catch anything unless you are over the age of 15. The loop is also small like the size of a napkin holder. See pic. JUNK! DO NOT BUY!!! Waste of money! This item should be prohibited from being sold on Amazon!

If I could give this product zero stars I would. We opened one at a time. The first broke so we opened the second. It broke quickly too. They are supposed to be able to extend but once extended the metal separates and doesn’t go back together in a way that allows it to extend again. We have a third in packaging still. I’m going to see about a refund. Don’t waste your money.

These bug nets caught spiders, grasshoppers and even dragon flies! (We let them go after looking at them in a bug box.) The boys had great fun. Functionally, the handle telescopes long and short; it bends easily--so can be broken if too much pressure on it, but it worked very well for the most part. All in all, a very fun thing for bug collecting adventures, and AMAZON had this order arrive in less than 48 hours! Thank you!

Got these for my toddlers. They are very rough on their toys, so I went with the cheaper version. These are surprisingly very sturdy. Vivid colors, and they came individually wrapped in plastic. Only complaint is the handle keeps sliding off. It needs to be glued on to the metal frame or something (design flaw). But this does not affect its function, and quite frankly - 2 year olds don't care (= Great value for the price paid.
