This one actually is made correctly with flow all the way around the screen - unlike most other Chinese strainers.The screen is quite restrictive though, small holes in the outer metal - you can see in their photos.

The Machining and quality of it look good however, the mesh screen has no box that holds it in place it's just butted up against the fitting. Most brass ones have a channel that the screen rides in.

Embedded in the wall wont know for sure how much debris is trapped until I open the wall.
