I LOVE this fireplace screen. We have a custom stone fireplace and I’ve had the hardest time finding a screen that fits. This one was actually a few inches too tall, but my husband was able to cut it down to fit perfectly.The screen is really well made and came packaged well. No damage. The oowder black coating is pretty. The doors are hinged and open easily. The handles do not get hot when there’s a fire going.

I. Have burned firewood for about 50 yrs believe me this screen barrier is excellent easy to put a few screws on it great product I would recommend this to anyone Leo new mexico

The screws sent to install the door panels do not work. That issue now necessitates a trip to the hardware store where I hope to find something that works. It's frustrating!

Missing parts. Fortunately I save hardware from everything so I could fix. Not true to size. 1/2 taller than listed, so it doesn’t fit opening. Had to set outside of brick instead of tucked inside. Lots of adjustments to have to “make fit”. Not what you pay for.

The screws were rusted into the door. I had to really work to get the handle screws to go into the door. Then one screw broke in the handle. So now that handle only has one screw in it. I really need a new handle so I can mount it on the door.

It's made in China is the only negative. It's a beautiful, solid piece. May arrive with a little of the black casing slightly damaged. Still worth it....

The box had two holes in it from delivery which caused a small dent in the screen but was able to be pushed out. The handles for the doors do not screw in properly and are loose. The top corner of the screen was dented and the metal coating is coming off slightly. All in all - once up on a fireplace from a distance it looks great, and for only really using it (opening the doors, which don't really line up right nor close perfect) a few months out of the year for our gas fireplace, so far...it seems to be worth the price and not paying 200-300+ for a similar item.
