Used these to replace nylock nuts on the front wheel axles on my lawn mower. You're supposed to have three bolt threads protruding from a nylock nut. Mine had none protruding so when I put new tires on it I used the correct nuts and ditched the worn out nylock nuts. Not really supposed to re-use them anyway, and same with these. Worked just fine.

Easily removed with common hand tools; no impact needed. Not a safe secured mechanism to deter a common thief.
