These nuts come with locktite to help seal something when you want it locked down long term. Just make sure that’s what you need!

I keep a fairly significant supply of bolts, washers, nuts, lock nuts, etc., on hand of the most common Imperial and Metric sizes I use. I long ago quit buying the little plastic bags of hardware at the big box stores unless that is the only option that meets my timeline. This assortment includes nut sizes that I don’t use very frequently, such as the smallest and largest (6-10, 1/2"), and adds to my stock of commonly used sizes. The threads are well formed, were smooth on my thread checker, and although I didn’t fully put a nut on a bolt to test, the insert appears like it will perform as intended. The price is a bit high, as other kits with around the same or more number of nuts can be found lower prices per nut, thus the one star reduction.

There is nothing you need more in a workshop than an assortment of fasteners. These are high quality and well organized. A great selection, and WAY cheaper than your neighborhood hardware store - not to mention more convenient
