The pilot section of the screw is the same diameter as the thread section so it will not go into the hole where the nut is located. I had to reduce the diameter of the pilot section to make it work. Try some one else product cause this is made by a company that does know what they are doing.

These couplers are Not fully threaded. They have been tapped less than half way in from both sides making them useless in many applications.
