I purchased the 50cm version and I ran extensive testing with a U.2 to M.2 adapter using PCIe 4.0 SSDs and I got no windows WHEA errors in system log or any show up in HWiNFO64. M.2 SSD were MSI M480 Pro 1TB and a Samsung 980 Pro 500GB and I got their full speeds in CrystalDiskMark.

Nice quality cable compared to another type (slimSAS to u.2) that I tested. Unfortunately it didn't work out for my setup, but the return was easy and quick.

Hello,I purchased two of these cables to connect a pair of OWC U2 Shuttle (quad M.2 NVMe to U.2 adapters, ASIN: B09TXTKFQK) to an ASUS WS C422 SAGE 10/G motherboard (ASIN: B07FBX4JVQ). No issues experienced so far.Regards,Aryeh Goretsky

I am pleasantly surprised with the quality of the cable for the price. It uses Amphenol connectors all around, and they feel solid when mating. Super tight connection.I'm getting full PCIe 4.0 x4 speeds for my M.2 drive with a U.2 adapter. 6.4 GB/s read/write through this cable, which is the max for my U.2 port as it goes through the AMD WRX80 chipset. A U.2 slot connected directly to the CPU probably can go even faster, closer to 7.5 GB/s.

Got this to connect a 400GB P5800X and it's working fine. AMD B550 board, primary M.2 slot (direct to CPU).

This cable doesn't support the performance benefit of PCIe x4 NVMe U.2 (or NVMe M.2 card in 2.5" adapter). It only holds one of the four lanes in U.2. Buy a different product instead to take advantage of PCIe-equipped storage performance.

The U.2 cable has to be made well because it involves fast data transfer. The length of this product is 50 cm and you can arrange the U.2 SSD in the case moderately, and the cover is made well so you can use it without worry. Both the power connector and the U.2 connector are solid, ensuring connections between terminals.

Shipping was a little slow, but the cable works. I've had another brand that cost $10 more, but the only difference was the strain relief between the cable and the main SSD connector. This one is slightly less robust, but really don't need it in a computer box.
