Bit stiff but all these cables are like that. Works fine with my HBA & SAS expander.

The cable does cable things

These cables work just fine for my SAS card needs. They work very well. No complaints. I like the braided outside. It allows smooth. Runs to happen with inside of the computer case you're using them in so they'll also resist a little bit better if you have some sharp metal on the inside. I do like the way that they flex and turn and do lock into position providing the card has the ability to lock. I would buy these again if needed. They do look like they'll last quite a long time.

Ich habe bei zwei verschiedenen Gelegenheiten im September und Oktober 2022 insgesamt sechs 10Gtek® SFF-8087 zu SFF-8087 0,8-Meter interne Mini SAS-Kabel erworben und bin mit meiner Erfahrung sehr unzufrieden. Ursprünglich habe ich vier dieser Kabel gekauft, doch aufgrund fortwährender HDD Verbindungs-Probleme habe ich einen Monat später noch zwei zusätzliche Kabel erworben, um die Kabel als Ursache der Probleme ausschließen zu können.Trotz des Tausch der Kabel hatte ich schwere Serverprobleme durch konstante Festplattenausfälle erlebt. Etwa alle zwei bis drei Wochen ist eine meiner 16 angeschlossenen Festplatten vollständig ausgefallen, was ein Datenwiederherstellung erforderte und erhebliche Störungen und Stress verursacht.Ich habe monatelang versucht, dieses Problem zu lösen und sogar meinen HDD-Controller-Karte ausgetauscht und meine Backplanes prüfen lassen. Dies löste das Problem jedoch nicht. Seit dem ursprünglichen Aufbau des VM/Storage Servers hatte ich Verbindungs- und Schreibprobleme festgestellt.Letztendlich, nach sechs Monaten Ärger, habe ich auf Delock 83055 Kabel umgestellt. Seit dieser Umstellung läuft der Server seit inzwischen drei Monaten reibungslos und ohne jegliche Probleme. Diese Erfahrung lässt mich glauben, dass die wiederholten Festplattenausfälle auf die minderwertige Qualität Ihrer 10Gtek® SFF-8087 Kabel zurückzuführen waren.Die Serverausfälle haben zu erheblichen Verlusten geführt. Ich bin überzeugt, dass die defekten Kabel die Ursache waren. Zwar hat das Herstellerunternehmen mir angeboten, die Kosten für die Kabel zu erstatten (was bisher noch nicht geschehen ist), doch dies macht die lange Zeit der Fehlersuche und Ausfälle nicht wieder gut. Als Entschädigung haben sie mir einen 10-Euro-Gutschein angeboten, den ich dankend abgelehnt habe.Ich hoffe, meine Erfahrung kann anderen potenziellen Käufern bei ihrer Kaufentscheidung helfen. Initially, I bought four of these cables, but due to persistent HDD connection problems, I bought an additional two cables a month later in an attempt to rule out the cables as the source of the problems.Despite swapping the cables, I have experienced severe server issues due to constant hard drive failures. Approximately every two to three weeks, one of my 16 connected hard drives has completely failed, requiring data recovery and causing significant disruption and stress.For months, I tried to resolve this issue, even replacing my HDD controller card and having my backplanes checked. However, this did not solve the problem. Since the initial build of the VM/Storage server, I have noticed connection and write problems.Finally, after six months of trouble, I switched to Delock 83055 cables. Since this switch, the server has been running smoothly for the past three months without any issues. This experience leads me to believe that the repeated hard drive failures were due to the inferior quality of the 10Gtek® SFF-8087 cables.The server failures have resulted in significant losses. I am convinced that the faulty cables were to blame. The manufacturer did offer to refund the cost of the cables (which has yet to happen), but this does not make up for the long time of troubleshooting and downtime. As compensation, they offered me a 10 Euro voucher, which I respectfully declined.I hope that my experience can help other potential buyers in their purchasing decision. Due to my negative experience, I cannot recommend these cables.

I used these cables when I went from a 24 drive expander backplane to a non expander A black plane on a 2u 24 drive Supermicro server. I want to have 3 controllers so I could use on HBA for VSAN then pass the rest of the controllers and drives to a VM running Truenas to provide scratch storage for VMs. These worked great!Highs:Good connectorsGreat cable protectionPerfect length for a server backplane to PCIe slotsGreat value

Solid cables, good construction. A little long for my use, 1 ft would have been better, but these work well.

The cables seem to be good quality, but were 4 inches shorter than advertised and therefore wouldn't reach my hba. Order longer than you need!Edit: Ordered longer cables and have had no issue as of 2 weeks from install.

Ich brauchte für einen Server möglichst Flache und extrem biegbare SAS Kabel da meine SAS Karte ihre Ports im low profile Gehäuse leider nach oben gerichtet hat.Die 10Gtek Mini SAS Kabel sind glücklicherweise komplett wie Aluminium Folie Faltbar und nehmen keinerlei Schaden dadurch.

Works great, looks nice, fits in case nicely, arrived on time. Not much else to say except these cables do not connect directly to drives :). You need a different cable forward, maybe reverse break out for that. I used 2 of these cables to connect an HP SAS Expander to an IBM (LSI) MegaRAID card (Flashed to LSI 2008 IT Admin mode). I then used forward breakout cables to connect the drives to the HP SAS Expander.
