Very cheap wood. Edges are same height as whole ruler. No angle down on sides.

The price is very reasonable. You get three. I used some of them for a wreath sign that I was making. The fact that it was unfinished wood meant that I could use watercolor to paint them. The color that I wanted them to be, which was yellow. They added the perfect 3-D to the sign I was making. Also, if you’re ordering them for use, they’re small enough for children to use without hurting their hands. I’ll be using the leftover ones in my classroom.

As expected for such a low price, the rulers are lightweight. But for quick measurements of less than a foot, you don't need anything fancy. I keep one in the kitchen drawer to make sure my pans are the right size for the recipe in

I always struggled with learning how to use a ruler (when I was younger), so I wanted to make it easier on my children as I taught them (homeschool). This was the perfect solution. Right now this works for all of the measurements we are doing and helps little hands hold it and line it up for line drawing. It's sturdy and made of quality material. The measurements seem accurate and the ruler is straight and now bowed like some wooden rulers can me.

I use these wooden rulers for pottery work. I ordered them initially to help rolling uniform slabs of clay but the rulers are too thin so I just use them for measurements and stuff while cutting clay slabs. The rulers are made of unfinished wood and are fragile

I used a metal tape measure to make sure these rulers were accurate and they are right on. I am not using them for a ruler but for crafts. They are thin rulers just under 1/8 inch thick. They do not have the metal edge on it which is why I got them. They are flat on both sides. Not thick but will work for my craft projects. No sealer on product which is okay for me.
