This is the exact seal necessary to install the wall mounted toilet in our bathroom. Sticky on both ends to make install even easier.

Heard good things about this gasket. The gasket must of been old. The removable adhesive sticker seemed permanently on the gasket. It was tough to peel off and parts of the gasket came up with it. I installed it anyways because I had to. I'll keep my fingers crossed π€π». Three star rating due to that.

Bought a house from the 60's with wall mount toilets. Plumber told me that they used a different kind of gasket then the traditional wax ring. Ordered this "gasket" and was at first incredulously disappointed thinking that I had gotten scammed. The thing is literally a piece of dense foam with sticky tape on both sides. But hey... It seems to work. No leaks and it was easy to install.

Our 1971 built house has wall mounted toilets. Someone in the past replaced the seal with a wax ring. It started leaking a few weeks ago. Once we knew what the problem was, I ordered and replaced the wax ring with the correct gasket. No LEAKS, easy installation. There is a film on each side that must be pealed off to expose the adhesive on the gasket--holds it in place as you replace the toilet on the wall. Be sure to align the toilet with the pipe so you don't start leaking again. I had to put a piece of baseboard under the toilet to raise it so it aligned with the pipe. Tighten carefully...you don't want to crack the porcelain. Around here these toilets are about $800 to replace, if you can find one. You may need two people to install it...they're heavy and can be awkward.

I had trouble finding these locally, and when I did the price was much higher than that from Amazon. They worked very well with the rear flush toilets I have, compressed easily with no leaks whatsoever.

It works, the adhesive isn't he greatest, make sure you clean the sealing surface thoroughly (I used acetone to remove the residue from the previous wax/composite seal).

If you're unfortunate enough to have a rear discharge toilet this ring is a life saver. Mine started leaking so I ordered a felt reinforced wax ring made specifically for a rear discharge toilet and it leaked within 3 weeks. I cleaned the wax off the toilet and flange really well making sure to remove all wax and put this ring on. So far so good. I'm pretty sure if you have no leaks immediately after installing a neoprene ring you're good to go being that they hold their shape and won't start sagging. Will update if I have issues. A month and a half later and still leak free. I think we're in the clear. Great product.
