I went with the OEM parts instead of trying to go cheaper with the generic brands and the problems that I read about from them. I did the repair myself and everything went smoothly. I would recommend this set because I spent a couple extra dollars and the installation went flawless.

I'm was told by Zurn Wilkins to buy OEM part kits, not knock offs. I'm glad I did. It fixed the leak.

Had a leak with water dripping out of the weep hole. Replaced parts with this product no more leak. It was pricey for what you get but I guess it’s oem and keeps my backflow functioning. Loss of star is due to cost.

Needed to repair my irrigation backflow preventer since would not pass inspection. The unit was 20 years old so I decided to replace all of the rubber parts since I was opening it up. Also decided to use the more expensive OEM kit because parts are made with approved materials for coming in contact with the drinking water system. Cheaper non OEM parts may have worked fine but didn’t want to chance it with the inspectors. FYI, metal replacement parts must be certified lead free for obvious reasons.

Price is not listed properly in listing. Description, dimensions are accurate but when chosen the price doubles.

My experience: Very good price for this good kit for stopping water leak of RPZ sprinkler valve, otherwise it may cost you roughly bundle from professional ( who may use same kit). Instructions are good with kit. Additional Info. This is was my first try with this product. I removed RPZ valve from outside yard and replaced, big black seal-diaphragm, steel seal ring washers, red rubber gaskets etc. Replacement and cleaning were done inside on kitchen table, not on outside live water line. Seat bracket of RPZ (which is not included in this kit and it is very hard to take out without proper tool ) is usually in good condition, Inspect though. I had to assemble, disassemble, install , run and tested RPZ valve-few times before I got it right using this product. I did clean RPZ valve after disassembly with fresh water and hair dried valve after removing old seal, relief valve. Also I opened knobs of relief valve and check valve for cleaning purpose. Careful, inside springs may bounce while removing these two valves . Do not scratch metal flange/ relief valve cover of RPZ with rough steel sponge while trying to remove hairs, small stuck debris. Remove by hand or smooth clothes. Few things re to be noted; rub slight grease(included in kit) diaphragm/black seal on outer perimeter on both sides, black and back lined one , as well as hole circles of diaphragm. Use proper size socket wrench, not regular wrench to tighten the bolts in across pattern during final assembly. Install RPZ on outside water line, Open upstream water valve handle, keeping downstream close. Open all three air ports one by one starting from downstream, then middle and upstream. Close one by one. Water may shoot out removing any small debris particles-if any. Be careful. Close no 3 downstream air port, then 2nd and then 1st upstream. Open downstream valve handle going into the sprinkler pipe One may needs to watch you tube video repairs of RPZ valves, may learn something on each one. I was about to give up, but in final trial 4, it worked. Initially it may drip slightly from bottom, but it may go away in a day or two . Put a pan underneath RPZ to see drips or leak for few days. Hopefully , it may go away. Also I kept inside kitchen faucet open and running slightly to remove water hammer-if any, during opening and closing upstream and downstream valves of RPZ. . Easy job, but be patience if it keeps leaking and try again. Take it out, clean and assemble again and try. I found Indentation on new diaphragm seal from this kit slightly different than original RPZ diaphragm seal where circle of plunger/poppet align . Watch diaphragm seal with black side and other side with checker lines, needs to place same way as before. While tightening bolts, make sure very small hole of rubber seal stay align with small inside metal cover plate, while tightening 6 bolts. If that small hole is not aligned properly with seal small hole , it may require another try. This is one way, situations may be different for other cases. (Note: Also steel seal ring/washer has two sides, one smooth surface, and the other rough surface. Important. Inspect, feel with hand, and check. Smooth side of steel washer should be placed on red rubber side , rough side expose, while tightening screw during rubber diaphragm gasket replacement. Do not put lube on red rubber seal ring washer- only o black ring-if you want. Use emery cloth to clean and wipe seat gasket which is not being replaced , but inspect for cracks on gasket- if any, then it may needs to replace.)

Worked perfectly. My sprinkler guys told me to replace the entire unit for $250 and that they can do it. Then they pointed out my A,O.Smith water pump was not starting as well and it would be $500 to replace. I told them I'll see what I can do and started to look on Amazon. A couple of hours researching on Amazon and Youtube. I bought this kit and replaced most of the rubber parts in the backflow preventer in about an hour. The inspector told me I did a great job. $30 in electrical parts for the pump fixed that one in about 2 hours worth of work. If you are not scared of DIY, definitely try to fix it yourself before coughing up the big bucks.
