OEM battery lasted 8 years, this one lasted 14 months, it has swollen and is dead. I hope that it hasn’t affected the GPS.

Really this is a great battery, and it does seem to last longer than my original battery ever did. The dimensions of this are almost perfect, but it is a little thin which led to poor connection with the device. It would seem to work fine, and then it would throw up an error saying that the "battery was not compatible with device," and then it would shut down.After comparing it carefully with my original battery it looked like a small shim under the battery would put the contacts in the correct spot. So, I cut a piece of therapy tape the size of the battery, and taped it to the back of it. With this small fix it has worked perfectly.I am happy with it, and I would certainly buy it again. I dropped a star because it should work out of the box.
