So far I’m two weeks in and it has been a great screen. Better than the past few screens I’ve ordered from other online vendors. I was skeptical at first being that this was not an original OLED screen like what came on the 14pro but to my surprise it has been been just as clear and vivid as the original but to be completely honest, a lot more bright than any of the other screens. I find myself using it at the lowest brightness setting even in the midday sun. Definitely a good value for the price.

If you plan on keeping your device and you don't want to bang your head against a wall anytime you use your phone then please just spend the extra $$ and get the Apple official one. Apple official screens are $276.36 at the time of this review (after you return your damaged screen and you receive that $52.64 credit back.My screen was completely unresponsive however from the haptics I was receiving from the device I knew that the rest of my device was fully functioning. I was unable to operate within iCloud to retrieve my data. If you're familiar with Apple you will understand the amount of hoops and hurdles you have to jump through sometimes to get what you need done. The instant this happened I went out and purchased a new phone and only needed my photos off of this device... Which lead to the final resort of purchasing a new display. I figured I would cheap out on this as I figured it might not look AS GOOD as an official apple one however it would certainly get the job done.Getting into the unboxing and repair it was whatever, you get your tiny little cheap screwdrivers and your little suction cup and various wedges and what not. They get the job done. I would rather just purchase the display itself for a couple $ cheaper. If you've worked with cellphones, small handheld devices or any small electronics you will most likely be fine. Take your time, organize your screws and have a nice in depth YouTube video in front of you to walk you through it. The display outside of the device more or less looked like the original one with some small inconsistencies between them but that's to be expected with something like this. You finish installing it and you finally turn the display on. Prepare to be disappointed, WOW was I so completely and utterly astonished by the awful quality of this screen! Immediately you can see how wrong the color is. I had a near identical 13 pro max and when sat right next to each other with the same color test image pulled up, this display just straight up looks like "Night Shift" is on 24/7. The responsiveness of the display is just garbage, any movement is sluggish. It genuinely feels like the refresh rate was cranked down to 30. After the phone has been on for a few minutes now it begins to feel like it's overheating because it gets so unbelievably hot. Uncomfortable to leave out of my sight, hot. I didn't really mind this much but it is worth mentioning, the display sits slightly higher than the old one? It's strange, there was absolutely 0 gasket material left behind and I made sure of that. Either it wasn't seating properly or it's just slightly thicker than the original one.I immediately thought I had messed up somewhere... However even with just an ounce of research you'll discover that these cheap displays are just riddled with issues. So don't waste your money. After this whole scenario I got into contact with Amazon support and I promptly asked for a refund for this awful product. All I had to do was send them the photo of the before and after of the display and they refunded the entire cost of the display. (They did ask for it back to which I replied that it was already installed in the device and I cant simply "uninstall" and return everything the way I got it.)I took this display out, purchased an Apple display and had NONE of the above issues.

The first one I got worked great, went on smooth. Noticed it was getting warm then the screen started twitching and flickering then gave out. Within the first 12 hours of delivery.Hit up amazon, they sent out a replacement one.Got it, popped it on.Easy fix.Smooth display. No heavy lag when texting, or watching videos.Does get warm, when using while charged.Over all 10/10 on the product. Please be advised that some of these after market products will have manufacturing defects but they will swap it out for you with no issues. The durability is great it fit smooth and comes with a protective plastic to go over the glass. The brightness is fair, you can see it on a sunny day.The Battery life is decent, it doesn’t drain it all crazy.10/10 would buy againUpdate - 3 weeks later. Battery life is dwindling.I’m constantly charging it.

Easy…ish to install. Getting the black water/dust tape off was the worst part. The screen is responsive. I got that non original screen notification but it went away.

bought this after my phone flew out of my pocket and shattered. for background i've repaired a lot of my own electronics so i'm not unfamiliar with the process and am expressing dissatisfaction with this product itself. so first of all, the suction cup does not work. at all. mine had a tiny defect, a curl in the lip which may have contributed to the problem, however i think it was just too weak a suction cup for this procedure to begin with. i decided to just use the spudger included in the kit, but it was cheap plastic and the edges of the screen tore it to pieces. the guitar pick? snapped in half the second i put any pressure on it. so i had to use a butter knife from my kitchen. the apple screwdriver worked fine, but i only needed it for the 2 screws holding the screen on so there was no chance for it to fail. the phillips head however became stripped as soon as it encountered 1 stubborn screw, so once again i found myself using my own phillips head pen that i bought at an actual hardware store. did the trick instantly. so, with 3/4 of the items included in the kit having failed, i now move on to the screen itself. as is probably obvious it is not an official apple screen, just a knockoff. as such, one of the metal fixtures on the inside of the screen was larger than an official apple screen so the band from a different fixture (that i managed to salvage from my existing iphone) was too small to fit around it and hold it in place. i did the best i could but the display is slightly crooked, showing more black around the top and bottom at a slant rather than lining up with the shell. in addition to that, there is a faint yellow tint across the top of the screen, and perhaps the most annoying part is that the color of the images it displays appears to be darkened in a way that cannot be fixed by adjusting the brightness or through any other options in the settings menu. it could easily be fixed if iphones had a more in depth contrast adjustment like televisions do but unfortunately they are extremely limited and there is nothing that can be done for this. lastly, the opening in the shell for the home button is very slightly oversized so there's enough room for something to be stuck between the shell and the button to pry it out, which i am praying does not happen. also, even though i still have my original home button, the touch ID feature no longer works, despite it being said that replacing just the screen would not affect this. there's no way to say how it would have turned out had i opted for the $120 repair from Geek Squad or something similar, but if you're a perfectionist i would recommend it over this kit. and if you've never repaired electronics but are hoping to save $90 by attempting to do it yourself, you might want to reconsider. it's very easy to break the insides of an iphone and it can take several hours trying to avoid doing so. i would rather have spent the $90 if i'm honest.
