The wires are so close together that it not pick up acorns even very small ones,there fore I would decline buying this product .

Happy with purchase. Handle is sturdy. Works wonderful on flat surface like a deck. Works but on unlevel ground ie: a hill, it is more difficult to pick them up. Neat concept.

I have two large oak trees that drop acorns throughout my back yard and lawn. I was hoping this would help with fall clean up. It only works on the hard surface of the walk (which can easily be picked up by sweeping). On the grass it is totally ineffective. Very disappointed with the money I wasted and I am back to the good old rake!

Love this but wish I knew about it at the beginning of the summer. Does really good on acorns on the top of the ground but of course those that got buried by the lawnmower are a little harder to get out. We have gathered more than one black trash bag full of acorns and probably have just as many still on the ground. Think I will get more use of it next year as I can gather the acorns as they fall which will make it a lot easier.

Pole will slowly collapse if you push hard to pick up stubborn objects but for the price it’s a good value and does the job.

I picked this particular one simply due to price. They all look very similar. Anyway, I have used it and it work fine. I have thick St. Augustine with some dirt patchy type areas. The pecans I picked up were super easy on the dirt patch areas. On the grass, you have to put some pressure and roll it alot... however, I found it easier to simply push down ontop of the pecans that were in the thick grass. The pecans went right into the cage, easier than back and forth, back and forth. Anyway, the cage bars are pretty firm yet move easily to let the pecans in, no issues there. Spin it alot or roll it to make some of the husks come off too. Not bad.

Product was delivered on time, in good condition and was easily assembled. This product may work better in the fall. It’s early April and I had to repeatedly go over the same area and it still only picked up about half of the acorns. Hopefully I’ll have better success this fall.
