I purchased this for my dad who has a low level paralysis of his vocal cords. This helps him talk without expecting extreme effort to create volume. My only issue is that I wish it was louder and came with a clip on microphone instead

I purchased this because I damaged my vocal cords trying to teach and keep my students engaged (and manage behaviors).The damage to my larynx was so severe I could hardly talk above a whisper.This has helped my voice heal by making it possible to project my voice without strain.Easy to use. Loud but not too loud. Not feedback issues so far.

This has saved my voice this year! Works well. The wireless headset allows me to leave the speaker at the front of the room but then walk around as I give notes. If I am facing the board writing a problem my voice can still project out to the class. Overall wish I had gotten one sooner!

I love how easy this is to use. Comes with a wired head set as well as a blue tooth headset. It also comes with it's own charger. I use it in a room of about 30 people and have no issues. I used it in a room with a cathedral ceiling and about 100 people and some people struggled to hear. I love this product and recommend to all who need a boost.

Creo que una bocina un poco más potente sería bueno. En espacios cerrados y no muy amplios es de gran ayuda pues uno no tiene que esforzar demasiado la voz.

I am a teacher in a primary school. I really like the way this works and can fit it under my mask. Students are able to hear my quiet voice inside and outside, and I have much more energy at the end of the day. I have been wearing it on the shoulder strap. Today (1 week after receiving and starting to use the device) I tried removing the belt tab because it was unnecessary while using the shoulder strap. I saw that it had arrows to remove it and took it out. Then I tried to put it back but the plastic tabs broke. So now I don't have the option to hang it on my belt. I would like to have a replacement part if possible. The only other problem with this device for me is that the charger has US plugs (I am in Australia). However it fits my other Apple chargers, so I can manage. If I could have the belt piece replaced I would be very happy with this device.

Updated Nov. 17, 2021I changing my review from two stars to one. The day after I wrote my review, the strap broke. It was glued not stitched. What made me update the review is that the unit is no longer working. It is not charging- even using a different charger made for the unit. I wouldn’t purchase this at all.I purchased this to use in my second grade classroom. Between my face mask and the plexiglass partitions, students hearing me in class was difficult. My colleague loved this unit so I bought one. I use it daily in a second grade classroom.Pros: when it works, there is good volume control and students can hear me. It has a removable clip and a nylon strap that can clip onto the unit so you can wear it. The charger charges both the Bluetooth headset and amplifier on one plug. There are two headsets-wired and Bluetooth. Both have a flexible mic that holds its position well. It has pretty straight forward directions to use. The price point is affordable.Cons: Not reliable at all! The unit comes with two different headsets- a Bluetooth one and a wired one. Neither one is very comfortable and both have a 90 degree turn near the ear that gets caught in my hair constantly.The amplifier and the Bluetooth headset do not always connect. Sometimes it stays connected for about an hour, sometimes longer. Most of the time it doesn’t stay connected or won’t even connect. I have given up on using Bluetooth because it was frustrating and not reliable.I have now been using the wired headset and wearing the amplifier at my waist. It is a bit more in consistent in working. Often there is a long pause of 3-5 seconds when I first turn on the unit and I can use it to amplify my voice. Annoying when you turn the unit on and off frequently. There is also the feedback squeal. The amplifier is very sensitive and often will squeal if the mic is even facing in the general direction of the speaker. I have to make sure the mic is up close to my nose so when I bend my head it doesn’t cause feedback.I am using this amplifier since I did purchase it and it is past the return date. I would definitely not purchase it if I had to do it over again.

I purchased this in February and honestly liked using it as it saves my voice tremendously. It was louder than my other portable speaker and microphone combo. I was really looking forward to using the wireless headset but could never get it to work consistently so resorted to using the wired headset. It worked well for the most part and I use it daily in my school library so the students can hear me while teaching behind a mask but it all of a sudden quit working. I double-checked that it was fully charged and all it does is produce a little bit of static sound when I move the microphone cord around. I am very disappointed because it wasn't cheap and shouldn't just quit working after 6 months of usage. Edited on 10/22/21 to say that the company reached out to me to make things right. They encouraged me to try out the wireless headset again and it does work much better than it did when I first got it. They also sent me a replacement wired headset but unfortunately, the headphone jack seems to have gone bad because the new headset doesn't work and I know the speaker works so it has to be the headphone jack. I am still going to use this set but just make do with the wireless set for now.

I love it! I bought it to use in a grade 6 class of 29 kids as wearing a mask, my voice was getting sore from projecting all day long. By the time it arrived, we had gone to code orange and my classes were split between two rooms to ensure social distancing. The grade six rooms are across the hall from each other. This works well as I leave the speaker in one room, and set up near the entrance of the second room and can speak to both classes...and project to a projector in both rooms using my laptop and document camera to teach. I can’t go far in to the room as then the distance between speaker and wireless is too far and the Bluetooth disconnects. Today, the speaker died and I got a little concerned as when I plugged it in, the usual red light to show charging didn’t even come on...it took quite a while before it did, and then it was blinking, which it hadn’t before. Eventually it charged and so far is working okay again. Great news, as I have a class of 27 grade 7’s split between two rooms, and a class of 23 grade 8’s split between two rooms also, and rely on this system to teach them Math and French. Unfortunately, currently this item is not available on Amazon anymore and I have a coworker who would like to purchase one. Hopefully, It becomes available again soon! Also love that it has a charging cord that splits into two ends of cable so one power source needed and two ends, one to plug into the headset and one to plug into the speaker. For my use, working between two rooms, I do need the volume always set to full.
