I usually steer clear of Zosi products after having about a half dozen WiFi cameras I just recently threw in the trash and 720p to 1080p DVR’s rendered useless that constantly needed rebooted. But these cameras aren’t bad. This was one occasion where I needed a narrow viewing angle cameras for a restaurant. It looks pretty good. Not a bad deal for a 4 pack which is hard to find and save a buck or 2.

Plugged right in to my DVR and didn't require one of those power box thingies like other cameras do. Everything but the DVR and a monitor is included in the box.I'm a noob at this, so I was pretty lost with cameras from several different brands with varying plugs and no clear way to power them and somehow patch it all together.This set took the complications away, made it streamlined and simple, and, most importantly, I finally was able to get it set up.I honestly got a little emotional when I opened the box and saw the dense coils of video/power wire for each camera, and knew my struggle to get the security we need so much was at long last totally handled.Cheaper cameras are just wasted money if you don't know how to put it all together.Thanks to whomever decided to put it all in a kit that even someone like me who, with every bit I learned, only became more and more intimidated by all the types of systems with their multitudes of available components, which are often not interchangable or blendable, or in any way intuitive.They say to work smart, not hard. Well, having the big smarts already handled and only needing to follow the simple directions to put it together made me feel pretty brilliant by proxy.

These were a great addition to my existing Zosi camera system but would work on any DVR system with standard BNC connectors and 1080p video capability.The camera video quality is excellent, day or night. Night is a little sensitive to light and if there is a bright light in the field of view, even at a distance, they will flip to daylight mode. I had to reposition them a little to avoid this but once I did the video quality is top notch.Packaging was stellar. Double boxed and well packaged to protect the cameras. Everything included and very neatly organized.Build quality of the camera is great. The supplied longer cables are OK, but just OK. They absolutely get the job done and are a really good length. My concern is that they are a smaller gauge and if you need to pull them over any distance you will want to be careful. Too much tugging and it may damage the cable. I didn't have that issue and they worked great.Mounting is super easy but there are two things to watch out for. If the camera angle is going to be really acute, you need to run the cable outside the grey ring, if not you run it inside the ring. I added pictures to try to demonstrate that. Also, if you plan to run the cable outside the slot in the base, the mounting bracket goes over top the cable in a raised area. I included a photo of that as well.Overall, great addition to my existing Zosi system and they produce great picture quality. My existing 4 Zosi cameras have performed great through lots of different types of weather. We have had record rains through the summer and this winter we have had record colds as well, and these cameras did fine.
