Where have these been all my life?there is no better way to clean the grill....sure, they make a mess, so you must do it in the sink,as they disintegrate as they clean, but its soooo effective...these are on the small side, I have used larger onesuse the size that best fits your grille, recommended, 4.5 stars

The stone is awkward to grip if you have smaller hands. However, it works just as good as any pumice type stone on tough surfaces. I did have to put forth some elbow grease to tackle tough cooked on food remnants. I wish it came with a handle or some other grip mechanism.

I'm pretty sure I have these for scrubbing callouses off of my feet. It seems like the same material. With that said, they work, but because cast iron grates are not feet, I found that they break down pretty quickly, particularly on a grungy grill surface. If they were a bit harder, maybe they'd work a bit better and last longer. Still, I think with regular use, you'd be able to get more uses out of them and they'd work well enough. Definitely better than most brushes for sure.

These are amazing! It came with six bar stones, very light and porous. Large sized and easy to handle when using. I cooked rice inside a stainless steel pot and it burned. I wasn’t paying attention and ended up burning the bottom of the rice, good thing it was only the bottom and I was still able to enjoy eating it. But the bottom of the pot was charred and dried. I soaked it, scrubbed it, scraped it with a lot of elbow work and nothing helped. I grabbed one of these bars and started rubbing it inside the bottom of the pot, wow! it was a miracle! I didn’t have to use so much energy and the charred pieces just started to come off. By the end of it, the pot looks like new. No black charred remnants remained and it shined. These are excellent. I definitely recommend this product.

When a wire brush just won't do the job these stone grill bricks will. Makes the grill cleaning chore go a lot faster. I typically use the wire brush first to remove the loose and sticky stuff, then switch to the grill brick to finish up.

I’ve bought grill bricks before and they are usually a good size - these are tiny (less than half the usual size) and tend to crumble a bit. Go to a restaurant supply store and buy the larger bricks. They’re much better.
