The instructions are simple. Easy to assemble & take apart. The only thing I had some concern with was they seemed slightly flimsy. They held my cupcakes but I was very careful placing them & did our best not to move them any. I did have one very bottom layer come off on a corner & rest on the table but no harm came to the cupcakes. It didn’t fall over or anything, so no harm, no foul.

This was meant to be a beautiful addition to a butterfly themed party, but when I opened it, I realized it wasn't the sturdiest, so I couldn't use it. It might work with those tiny tiny cupcakes, or finger sandwiches, or anything else that is really light. But I didn't want to risk putting anything heavier on it.I still recommend it for the sake of decor, and if you have lighter items to put on it.

This stand is very pretty but it's also very flimsy. The top butterfly doesn't secure to the rest of the stand, it sort of balances on top and falls a lot. It's okay but I wouldn't buy it again.
