OUR PART #: BTA-1 MFR #: ZBTA1 Zoom's BTA-1 is an optional Bluetooth adapter that lets you wirelessly employ the AR-48c Ring Controller (sold separately) during live performances, all delivering wireless control of the MIDI instruments and devices connected to your computer—samplers, synths, drum machines, and MIDI-enabled effects processors as well. It can also be used with the LiveTrak L-20 (sold separately), offering wireless control via a free iOS mobile app which provides most onboard functions, including Fader Levels and Modes, Scenes, EQ, parameters, EFX sends, returns, and more. The unit can also help you stay out of the shot when recording 360-audio on the H3-VR Handy Recorder (sold separately). In concert with the BTA-1, the H3 Control App enables you to remotely access transport controls, level settings, and metadata notes right within your iOS device (sold separately). Plus with the BTA-1, up to 10 meters communication is possible in an unobstructed indoor space. .

Bt-1 works exactly as expected. At first it wouldn't connect then I tried turning on the the main unit on and off. Finally, in settings, it showed up, ready to connect. It remote works throughout my home. Great distance. I use mine on the Q8n camera with a Android connection.

This worked great and allowed us to control our Zoom LiveTrak L-20 mixer with an iPad. It works great. It is plug and play. You plug it into the mixer and then open the app on the iPad and the invitation to connect opens immediately. We have used it a few times and it has always connected easily. It allows my sound man to sit walk around and hear the sound and make adjustments as needed while still leaving the mixer board on the stage so that a "snake" is not needed. Overall, I am pleased with the Zoom mixer and this wireless dongle. I only wish that they would make the app for Android as well as iPad.

I don't know why the vendor uses ups the item is a week late and ups lied saying the address was wrong and the weather delayed delivery.the software from Zoom is rubbish . the item is not worth buying

Its OK, its a must have for the zoom L20 mixer, it should have been built in or included free. Stupid that you have to buy it. It also sucks that it's not just standard USB connection, its proprietary. Would be nice if they made a 6 foot extension cable for it so I can get some extra range out of it. I find that with the mixer behind one wall the distance is poor, about 50ft line of site.

This is a critical part if you are using the Zoom F3 field recorder as the recorder itself is very small. The free software that you will use on your cell phone to run the F3 is very well coded by Zoom and makes the use of the F3 VASTLY more convenient and enjoyable. Zoom should sell this BT adapter with the F3, but that's not a matter for this review. You need this - buy it. The Zoom F3 recorder is excellent, but a pain to deal with if you aren't using the mobile phone app that connects through this BT adapter.
