It does good, rattles a little bit on gravel but so far has worked out great for keeping the dogs from going to the front seat.

Toyota Highlander 2019. Looks like it will work great for dogs who aren't super crazy about getting past it. The included bungees are adjustable so that may be the issue with them moving. I'll probably add a knot once I know the placement is ideal. Will update once I take the dogs for a car ride.

I have a 4 door 2016 Jeep Sahara and this barrier is perfect. It doesn’t come with any instructions to put together and mine was missing the bungee to attach to the seats but we just picked up a couple. Look at the picture when assembling … it’s really quite simple. It stayed in place perfectly. We did add a bungee to the bottom also because I have one fur baby that really works it. 😂. It was awesome … very pleased. We are going to try it in our son’s Subaru Outback and possibly get another. We have seven large dogs (ranging from 45# to 95#) so we have to take two vehicles. 🤷♀️🤦♀️

Got it for the dogs, after the last accident I got in with them in my car that cost me 10k to repair. Since before I kind of let my dogs have free reign in my car and that created a bit of a blind spot, hence the accident. no one was hurt, but did do 10k in damages.Pros:-It's metal-It was the ONLY option to have that middle piece that extended both up and down. If it's for the front seat, normally it's a bar that sits flush with the back of the seats, which any dog can easily jump over. If it's made for the back seat, assumes it's a bench style seat meaning the dog can climb under it. This is literally the very few that addressed the front seats gap.-It has technically worked.Cons:-fit and finish is sloppy to say the least.-A Smart dog can easily best this, if my Trapper were still alive, he'd have these bars nudged out of the way in no time. Luckily the two remaining dogs aren't as clever. There's literally ZERO REAL LOCKING MECHANISM for the bars that extend to fit your car's width. They use a sloppy grommet system that has the slightest bit of grip and friction to it. It would be better served with a clamping mechanism found on like pool poles, especially at this price point.-What are these bungee cords. I didn't know you could make SUPER CHEAP bungee cords. They work, but they won't last, since it doesn't have a proper carabiner end to it, has a weird hook with an extruded plastic gate. Not to mention that due to the bungee cord system instead of the plate/bar method used by other companies, means it's rather flimsy and easy to adjust, which again, a smarter dog could best that weakness as well.Possible Mods to Improve the extending arms:right now the arms are easy to push in and out without a lot of struggle, YET... you could easily fix this with non-MARINE glue Heat Shrink Tubing. Get a good 3:1 shrink tubing, cut it to 6in length Assemble this, so that three inches are on the stationary part, and 3 inches are on the extending parts, shrink tubing to the pipe. If you desire more grip, a good 1/4in zip tie securely tied to the extending arm part around the heatshrink should provide enough clamping force to make it hard to manipulate. Do that like 8 times and you're good. Conclusion It 100% TECHNICALLY WORKS but, man... you're going to find yourself hacking and modifying this to better secure it and also lock those arms more. If this weren't like the only option after an hour of searching Amazon, I found that addressed the front middle gap, I would say pass.

Overall, the Zookeeper barrier seems solid and fit great in my 2015 Grand Cherokee. The adjustable sliding sides may slide a little too easily but this would be a very simple fix to make myself if needed. Mine fit tight against the seats with just the bungies around the headrests and doesn't move around or rattle while driving. You could add bungies on the bottom as well, however, I didn't feel it was necessary. I have an Aussie who demands to be on the center console by me and this stopped her from jumping up to me while driving and I can still reach through for treating her if needed which is exactly what I was hoping for. The only negative was my shipping and delivery experience but that's more on Amazon since they fulfilled the order.

Just got this barrier for my daughter’s Tahoe. It seems very solid as you would think it would be with the steel bars. Even hollow, they are very sturdy and the barrier was really easy to put together, and install. We had to add another strap to the bottom to keep it in place but that may not be necessary in other vehicles. She’s happy, her dogs stay in the back and she says it doesn’t make a sound going down the road. I’d surely recommend it!

Nice barrier, easy to assemble, fits 2024 RAV 4 width behind front seats. HOWEVER the bottom absolutely needs secured and the RAV has no easy place to do so. Every reasonable under seat place interferes with seats moving forward and back. I have secured it to the seat belt receiver in front which seems to be working. The bungee included in package is junk. You need to replace them and buy two others for the bottom. Once that is accomplished this is a very nice dog barrier even for my escape artist Shiba.
