Since getting a bit more into tasting various spirits, my glassware collection has grown quickly. Most of my tasting is done in a Glencairn but I do like trying out new barware when I get a chance. These little brandy snifters are a great size for doing a tasting or sipping on your favorite brandy, armagnac or cognac. They're made from pretty thick glass and have a great heavy feel for being as small as they are. For reference, my photo is a 1.75oz pour. Leaves plenty of air in the glass and these are fairly easy to "nose". One nice thing about these vs a Glencairn is that it's easier to actually drink from these. They're a bit more open at the top, making it easier to enjoy your drink after nosing it. Also, a great deal on 6 glasses... I may pick up another set or two to have for when we do various tastings at our place. These are inexpensive enough that I don't mind using them for a "root beer tasting" with the kiddos either. (Try it some time... it's a ton of fun!)
