I have a podcast channel. In the initial stages I used phone for video recordings and the compatibility of this product is so good. I highly recommend this as it's best for the value for money. It has two extensions one for charging and one for ear piece. The sound quality si good and I never had any connection and connectivity issues as the connection quality seems to be decent. The Adapter quality is good.

I've been scouring the Internet for a few weeks for a connector such as this. The majority of the ones I've seen have the same issues in their reviews. Other splitters will have static or feedback whenever using them while charging the device. This one does not. This one is also recognized by my device as a fast charger, and charges appropriately.

Does NOT work both SIMULTANEOUSLY earphone & charging at the same time. Also, the charging when is alone works very slow charge rate. The item is useless.

This dual adapter is super practical if you need to charge your tablet and listen to music at the same time. This is the second time I’ve bought this model because it’s worked so well for me. The sound quality doesn’t drop, the charging remains fast, and the connectors have a premium finish that feels high-quality and fits perfectly with the device. Overall, it does exactly what it promises and is still an excellent option for the price.

I bought these based on positive reviews. I tried them with 3 pairs of earphones (mostly old cheap pairs) and they worked perfectly. My wife tried them with two pairs of earphones she has, one being a cheap pair from Tesco and another being a decent pair from Samsung, but both encountered issues. With one pair they muffled the sound to a point you needed to dramatically increase the volume just to hear anything. On the second pair it muffled the vocals of some audio but allowed the background sound, albeit at a lower volume. So, these have potential to work perfectly with some earphones and barely/oddly with others.
