I liked the different colors for in the hermit crabs Home but then I read up on it and learned that the sand could suffocate them so I use coconut dirt but I loved the colored sand for looks

Like another comment said before me calcium sand is very bad for a crab I’ve actually tried to get sand straight from the beach but haven’t been able to obtain for those new to the hermit crabs best choice to buy crabs is coconut fiber it helps keep humidity for them which is a huge help
