Good brass sheets. Bit they arrived with the corners horribly smashed over.
Not a good color!

These brass sheets came individually wrapped with film to prevent scratches, and were packaged in a sturdy box. The brass sheets work very well for hobby craft.

Upon receiving the Zonon Brass Sheets, I was pleased to find them well-packed with protective liners on each face, ensuring they arrived undamaged. However, my enthusiasm waned when I discovered a discrepancy in the product description. While advertised as 22 gauge thickness, they measure closer to 27 gauge, which is significantly thinner. This inconsistency is disappointing and needs rectifying by the vendor. Despite this issue, the sheets are straight and suitable for various crafting, carving, and DIY projects.

These brass sheets come in a rather flimsy cardboard box with a thin layer of bubble wrap. Mine were slightly damaged during shipping, which is to be expected with this type of packaging. I plan on using this material in my home shop for creating shims, protecting material being held in a vise or chuck, and for other miscellaneous small projects. So for my purposes the slight damage is of little consequence. Each side of the brass sheets is covered with a protective layer of plastic, which is easy to remove and leaves no residue. The surface finish is nice with a slightly brushed appearance on both sides. It is not the type of coarse brushed finish that hides fingerprints, but neither is it a highly polished finish. Just a nice, uniform and rather fine brushed look. The exact size of the material is another aspect not terribly important to me, but I understand it might be critical for some people. The description says these are 12 x 6 inch, but they are actually 150 x 300 mm. That is slightly under 12 x 6 inches (about 3/16" under for the 12" dimension). The thickness is also slightly off, or way off depending on how you look at it. 22 gauge brass should measure 0.0254" (0.644mm). This stuff measures 0.0149" (0.378mm). They do list a metric equivalent of 0.4mm in the description which is fairly close, but 22 gauge is not close at all. 26 gauge would be the closest standard size. So overall I think this is good quality material that will work very well for me in the shop. Just be aware of the dimensions you need and be prepared for some possible light damage during shipping.

Product may be the advertised gauge, I don't know how to measure that. It is 0.4mm thick, and not 4mm.
