10-pk SKU – Micron – Color – Abrasive 37-941 – 1 – white – Aluminum Oxide 37-942 – 2 – aqua – Aluminum Oxide 37-943 – 3 – pink – Aluminum Oxide 37-944 – 9 – lt. blue – Aluminum Oxide 37-945 – 15 – gray – Silicon Carbide 37-946 – 30 – green – Silicon Carbide Each sheet of 3M Micro Graded Wet/Dry Polishing Paper is 8-1/2″ x 11″. Each grade is color coded for easy identification. Abrasive grit is on darker or more intensely colored side of sheets.

Aluminum Oxide / Silicon Carbide 3M polishing papers with super flexible non-woven backings for polishing flat or curved softer surfaces: acrylic, polyurethane, solid surface composites, fiberglass, aluminum, precious metals and finished wood. Use with or without water. Work in sequence from coarsest to finest grade (1-30).

Comprised of micron-graded aluminum oxide and silicone carbide particles slurry coated onto a non-woven synthetic backing, the superior flexibility of this product allows for fast and easy finishing and polishing on flat and contoured surfaces.

Cut into strips and roll on to a split mandrel and tap the bottom with masking tape. Cut of the used section and keep on using.

I've used this stuff for the past 18 years. It cuts impossibly fast but leaves near mirror finish. Every machinist or gunsmith or fab guy should have it.Note, the cloth is kinda fragile, so you can't hit it with parts with sharp burs. But as a final pass on any machined, stoned, honed, or welded surface, it's phenomenal.

I use these as the first step in dice polishing, followed by the rest of the Zona papers. Wet sanding helps a lot in keeping the dust down.
