I received my first order of food jar. Opened package and only half of it was there. The bottom part with no lid. It was in a sealed plastic bag that hadn’t been opened. Of course I sent it back and ordered another. But what a hassle.

I bought this because it was the perfect volume and it was wide mouthed. We lost a seal immediately because they don’t stay on well. However, a few weeks later my child was unscrewing the lid and it separated leaving the insulation tightly screwed on but the plastic cap of the lid in their hand.

I bought it to keep my coffee hotter for longer. It works great for the purpose. It might be an OK kid food jar. For an adult look for a larger size.

The wide mouth is terrific. The insulation is mediocre. It is not a thermos. Heat retention is maybe a couple hours and drops off. Obviously the lid is not a cup, which is okay, but would have been a nice feature to include.
