It’s a pretty good hearing protection that is low budget and durable. I’ve dropped mine off a ladder and kept working. The audio wires from left to right are durable. Sound quality ok mono audio, Bluetooth connects easily, can turn down microphone when using for Bluetooth music etc.Anything to drown out large centrifugal chillers are great.I’ve used these for shooting and cutout when discharging firearm.

I bought these earmuffs for work around aircraft with the ability to connect my uhf radio for communication with the team. When connecting the headphone jack you have to have to turn it turned on and it has a constant statics and beeping buzz that makes them really bad to use. I tried buying a high-quality jack cable to reduce this but that didn't work. Also, the volume is so low it makes it difficult to hear anything. I think its static from the Bluetooth. From what I could workout is you must have it turned on to utilise the function of connecting the radio. On the positive, they are comfortable enough to wear for long periods of time.

I purchased these to replace my Sony headphones, which I have been using as noise cancelling earmuffs for the past TEN YEARS.These... were just as good at damping external noise, and I got the cool gel ear pads with them and everything...Turning up the external sound so you can hear people talking, yields poor audio and buzzy voices which make it hard to understand someone talking to you from more than 5 feet away, and that's without running equipment at all.If you start a gas trimmer or snow blower, any chance of talking is gone as the filter doesn't just dampen the sound of the machine, but everything. So, it sound's like your friend is talking through a fan, and a tin can telephone to you.The whole reason I got these was to replace a ten year old set of Sony headphones for when I work outside with something designed for that purpose.Instead, when paired to the phone, the audio is so faint, even with the volume CRANKED on the phone to max... that, you can barely hear it when a snow blower, or trimmer, or chainsaw, is running.I tried the noise cancelling, but it's passive noise cancelling not active noise cancelling. The difference is, when I put my Sony headphones on, they dampen outside noise, and when i turn the noise cancellation on (active noise cancellation) the microphone picks up the waves coming in at regular intervals, and processes the frequency, fires it back through the headset at -the Db it is coming in and the opposing wave form, thus cancelling the sound like tossing two stones in a lake and watching the ripples cancel each other out... Effectively suppressing the incoming noise, to the point where if you put the headphones on, and turn the noise cancellation on, it feels like on top of the headphones, you suddenly put your fingers in your ears, it is A LOT quieter.Which brings me to THESE earmuffs. They don't do that. the electronics are only active when the switch is on, the volume knob ONLY turns up the attenuation of the external microphones, and not the bluetooth. The bluetooth volume is controlled by your phone only and is very quiet. The volume of the noise outside is constantly muffled. but not as good as if it were ACTIVE noise cancellation. The ONLY "noise cancelling" these do, is if you have the volume turned up so you can hear through the microphones on the outside of the headset, those mics will not pick up loud sounds, they just effectively mute upon sharp sounds.Basically, these aren't doing anything but being regular earmuffs, with the option to turn on a buzzy, quiet microphone pickup so you can hear outside of them, and when you have that active, any sharp noise will not come through the mics. They are just as noise cancelling turned ON as they are OFF.And they are just as good at muffling sound, even when trap shooting, as my old Sony MDRZX770BN Bluetooth and Noise Canceling Headset from nearly a decade ago. Thus, I sadly have opted to return these, and continue using my clean sounding headphones, as ear muffs. they just, work better. And no matter how much I WANT to use these cool, new, with gel for better seal, electronic ear muffs, they just... don't do what my stupid Sony MDRZX770BN Bluetooth and Noise Canceling Headset does.Like, TO BE 100% honest, if you just get a good pair of Peltor safety earmuffs, and a set of cheap earbuds to toss in for tunes, that will do vastly better and cheaper than buying these.I based my purchase on the reviews, the videos and the hype...But when all is said and done, they're just earmuffs, with a sort of external amplifier that cuts out when they hear a loud sound like a clap, shot, or pop. Which, sadly isn't what I was looking for.I was looking for a GOOD, bluetooth working headset, I can't hear my music over the snow blower in these at all, even with the external volume knob for digital pass-through turned down all the way and only allowing BlueTooth audio to come through...They just, don't live up to the hype.Sorry :(I hate giving bad reviews, and I really REALLY wanted to love these. And YES I did use fresh new batteries, at 1.63v ea. and 1.52 under load.

They do their job fairly well, not the best muffs I've had, but they do work. The microphones are robotic sounding, but not totally terrible. They do cancel noise, the Bluetooth sounds pretty good, could be louder though. They're actually very comfortable to wear, I wore mine all day with no issues. The fit overall is good and the battery life is good, I have yet to need to change out batteries.

I recently purchased the ZOHAN 035 Bluetooth 5.0 Shooting Ear Protection with Active Noise Canceling, and I couldn't be happier with my choice. These earmuffs have exceeded my expectations in every way! The active noise canceling feature is phenomenal. It effectively blocks out the loud gunshots while allowing me to stay aware of my surroundings. The difference is night and day compared to my previous earmuffs. The Bluetooth connection is seamless and provides excellent sound quality. I can easily listen to my favorite music while listening to the instructors. The controls are intuitive and easy to use, even with gloves on. Pairing the earmuffs with my devices was a breeze, and the battery life is excellent, lasting through multiple range trips without needing a change of batteries. Overall, the ZOHAN 035 Bluetooth 5.0 Shooting Ear Protection with Active Noise Canceling has everything I was looking for and more. Whether you're a casual shooter or a professional, these earmuffs are a fantastic investment. Highly recommended!

I picked these up for MotoGP. Sound is very 'tinny'. I own a set of quality ear-pro. And these do not compare. They pick up a lot of ambient noise. They are effective at reducing the more intense noises. The sound isolation is lacking.BUT, for the price, they are not terrible. Good at the track. Did what I wanted them to do. Which was reduce the big noise, and still allow me to have conversations without popping an ear off. If you're searching for a budget option with the same quality, these are not it. If you want something that shares the utility, but don't want to spend a full paycheck on the competitor, these are good enough.

These might be the only Bluetooth headphones I own that I don't absolutely hate operating. You can choose to use them normally or turn on the Bluetooth with the button. It connects easily upon already being paired before, and is really easy to use on the fly!! It's a bit quiet though, so I wouldn't recommend using it with something like as someone described, a jackhammer? But maybe mowing the lawn or going to the shooting range would be a lot more practical with the music playing in the back and easily being turned on and off with the volume slider. Also there's controls for pausing and playing + Skipping and rewinding too!

Look, it's a good simple headset but how the outside sound gets transferred into your ears via mics and speakers is, how do I describe this? Very one dimensional. Say a gun gets fired from your right, once the sound goes through both speakers you won't be able to pinpoint where the outside sound is coming from. Not bagging this device, I should've read the description and done a bit more research. The Bluetooth option is really cool though, it is loud enough for me to hear doing what I do so I still use these but not when I need to hear exactly where certain noises are coming from, for that I need the expensive pair.
