I was very disappointed with this screen filter. While it appears to be well-made, and it comes complete with all the items necessary to mount and store it to my laptop, it just doesn't offer much privacy. I primarily purchased it for more privacy when working on an airplane. After install, I put my laptop on my desk and then moved my seat directly to the right of where I normally sit. I could still see the right side of the display clearly and make out most of what was on the screen well to the middle. This model has a smaller viewing angle than most on Amazon, so I was really surprised by the performance. I cannot say for sure the information listed is incorrect, but regardless, practically speaking it doesn't do me any good.

It does exactly what it says. Perfect if you are on airline for example. It does make the screen darker so I tend to put the brightness up which negatively affects the battery. However, it is easily removable so when you don’t need the privacy you can simply take it off and store it in the supplied sleeve. The top part attaches magnetically to the screen and there is a very light adhesive on the bottom part which simply keeps it attached to the bottom of the screen. Make sure you attached the right way around - it’s very easy to fit it the wrong way so the adhesive piece is facing you instead of the screen. If you do that, the bottom of the privacy screen doesn’t stay attached to the MacBook screen and bends outwards a little. Put in on properly and the problem is solved. It came with a separate tiny cover for the webcam - utterly useless and went straight into bin. When it’s installed, the MacBook doesn’t close as cleanly as it would without the screen. Overall, I’d recommend this product.

I can finally have some privacy at work with this screen as well as comfort eyes. Should have bought it sooner. I thought i had to put magnetic on screen as well but screen already has magnetic on it. Easy to use!

The product is real bad quality. The screen is horrendous. The magnetic strap isn’t strong enough. Keeps falling off.

This has to be used on 25% or less brightness on Macbook Pro 2021 model. Increasing brightness to 50% will make the screen readable to people on left/right of you. Increasing to 90-100% of brightness makes the screen 100% visible to everyone..its as good as not having a privacy screen at all. Learnt this the hard way by accident... since the day was cloudy, I kept increasing the brightness level and didnt realize the privacy screen was not working until I had to pickup something that fell to the floor. Imagine my surprise when the annual review I was writing was visible to all.

Really love this privacy screen. It fits perfectly on my Mac, and you can barely notice that it's there. Super effective as well, keeps the content on my computer to my eyes only!

overall i really love this macbook screen protector. it fits perfect on my 2017 macbook pro. the adhesion is surprisingly sturdy for such small pieces of tape, but it works lol. and for how good the adhesion is, it's easy to take off too. doesn't leave any residue behind. really good technical improvements on that.no glare. people can't see from the sides but can see from the top/bottom, which is not a problem for me bc i like to be able to see what's on my screen when i tilt it up or down. i would recommend this to anyone who's looking for a good no glare privacy screen protector

I got this for my Macbook air M2 2023. It is really easy to use - pops on and off with no problems. Great purchase! Privacy is effectively upheld from the screen. There's a slight problem with the adhesion at the bottom screens, but it's not too bad. The finish is matte, so it doesn't really have fingerprint stains.

I have a MacBook Pro Retina (mid-2014) that I recently used 'OpenCore Legacy Patcher' on to give it a new lease on life with the newest version of Sonoma. Now I have a daily driver that I can take with me when I'm out and about again. But, as such things go, privacy is still a concern. This privacy screen does exactly what it claims, giving me screen privacy as well as camera privacy. There's a cute, nearly invisible door that you can slide over the camera built into the protector. If you don't look too closely at it, you'll completely miss it, which I find a very nice touch. The magnetic anchoring system is flawless and really does keep it firmly attached. The fit and finish are perfect for my model as well. It's actually so well done I'd completely forgotten about it until I was reminded to review it. Super happy with the results.

This is NOT a privacy screen, this is just a blue light filter. It's not magnetic, it sticks to the screen, and there is no privacy feature. I needed a new screen protector, but not as badly as I needed a privacy screen.

Magnet works as expected, really tight fit on the screen of my M1 MacBook Air and provides anti glare and privacy. The camera slider doesn't work very well though, it's extremely hard to slide once the screen is attached to the computer. I usually have to take it off and slide the camera cover on or off and then putting it back on the laptop which is pretty annoying. For the price, you would think that this issue would've been solved and not such a hassle. It also comes with a nice hard plastic sleeve that you can put the screen in, I usually take the screen off when I'm not using it and when traveling so I found that really helpful to keep its longevity.
