Was missing tree protection tubing. Large rachet was cheap and kept binding on itself. It was new and out of the box. Safety cable is too short if using a big tree.Instructions were easy to read. Set up was quick and the kids love it.

This was by far the best zipline on Amazon. But, after a year now. I have used it 3X and still can't get the line tight. This is not great for transportation and setting up. More for a large yard and mount permanently. I don't have that option so my daughter still hasn't been able to enjoy it. I've put hours into 3 different locations and tree distances and it bows. Can't get it tight.

The grandkids used the crap out of this over the first summer of use. Pulled it down for the winter. Hopefully we get several more summers out of it.

When it works, it is fun. However, as others reviews have noted, you need to add a second brake - which we did. But that wasn't enough. As we rode it for a while, finally I decided to try it to show some grandkids it was safe and fun, and as I reached the bottom, the seat came apart at a plastic 'weld' as showing the in photos, leaving me on the ground (just a two-foot drop at this point) with a torn ham string and hematoma, and hundreds of dollars in medical bills.It takes more than two people to install this in a tree, just to pull on the wire to get it looped around the top tree. I could live with that, but the poor quality of the seat is dangerous to anyone who uses it, especially as it ages (ours had been up just a month).Suggest the manufacture look into this and provide a better-built seat. If you buy this consider your own reinforcements or an alternate seat.Update August 16: the manufacture immediately reached out to me and offered to refund the full price of my purchase, which is commendable. I have raised my rating by one star purely for having responsive customer support (which is rare these days). This will help towards medical out-of-pocket bills.I will still continue to use the overall zipline, as it otherwise seems to be of high quality and worked well. I will of course need to replace the seat, and am looking at other trolleys here that in fact have a built-in braking system. If you by the kit, please consider placing some wood (10" 1x4 board for example) under the seat, drilling a half-inch hole in the center of it, with a large metal washer with a half-inch hole in the middle under the wood, right against the knot. That will put the load and pressure on the wood and washer, instead of on the plastic cone on the seat that comes with the kit.

We bought this for our grandchildren for their birthdays. They love it! It helps them to go outside and play, and it adds an element of fun for them.
