Perfect for a repairing a hose.Are you tired of buying a new hose every time you get a leak in your house I am or I should say I was. Now I just buy female and or male connections to repair my hose when I get a leak.You simply cut the hose where the leak is and then install either the mail or the female connector.Another option is to buy a connector that you can connect two pieces of hose after you cut out the leak which will allow you to maintain a majority of your garden.Quit spending money on a new hose every time you get a leak. Repair it with one of these quality products

The couplings shipped and arrived quickly. Initial inspection seems to suggest that these are made with very good quality materials. They are heavier, well finished, and cost more. But the washers are the cheapest kind that are not even quite the right size. They fall out of the female housing if I just hold them facing down. I replaced the washer right away. The coupling leaks water even when the clamp shell is fully tightened on the very good quality hose I have. I had to add about 8 or 9 inches of duct tape to the hose end then put the clamp shell on to stop the leak. I do like the metal material and I expect them to last, along with the duct tape and better washer. Hope this helps.

Installed this about a week ago on a hose extension and it leaks. It’s a very small leak but leaks nonetheless. I purchased a similar product from my local home center and it works much better.

I had previously ordered and used a set of these two fix the ends on a few of our older hoses. I ordered a second batch of them to use between rain barrels with sections of hose that I will repurpose, connecting each barrel to the next using a Y-valve connector. They are easy to use, to not have any rough edges from screws or clamps as other units have had, and they are very secure, without leaks.
