These are cheap and nasty, sound quality is poor and should remind you that you get what you pay for. I've had them for a day and the right ear now barely works, also the cable length is a joke.On a plus side, they're light, but that's cause it's cheap and made from crap products.

Wanted a cheap pair of headphones to play guitar into and honestly these are really nice. My one issue with them which is no fault of the actual headphones, is that they are just a little small on my ears. I probably could resolve this with some larger cups. But that is the issue of my big ears, not these headphones. I like the modular cord too to allow for basic 3.5mm headphone jacks or 1/4in jacks like in my audio interface.

I preface this review by saying im not a producer or ultra snob audiophile.But I LOVE music as a hobby and have many pairs of headphones and earphones.These are surprisingly good.Sound Signature: Rounded, pleasant warm sound. I would not call these Completely Neutral so not studio level per se. Above average detail, pretty good soundstage, imaging is above average.What I was surprised about is these sound a whole bunch like the Brainwavz HM5. Which is REALLY impressive. Rather mature sounding since the treble is a touch subdued.For the price I doubt you can find a better pair of starting level 'studio' (or 'beater') headphones. I put it in quotes so snobs won't kill me for reccomending these and not 200$+ Sennheisers. Listen, with the way the economy is now most hobbyists should not have to drop that for a pair of headphones If they are just wanting to have a bit of fun.I like using these more than my HM5 or Status Headphones. I have other headphones that are more detailed but again they are much more expensive. And these are pretty close! Easily drivable by phone or tablet. They do benefit from a bit of juice like from a portable DAC but it isnt necessary. But they do open up more with more power.These do respond well with burn in so do keep that in mind.What I also appreciate is that these are REALLY comfortable. They are light and arent clamp monsters. I've chosen to fall asleep with these on instead of my earphones.For what might be an introduction to a hobby, these are MORE than fine.I listen to a lot of different genres (pretty much everything besides modern rap and country), and I loved listening to it all with these.

These feel kind of cheap, but the sound quality makes up for it. The red cable is probably worth as much as the headphones ...If you just need something that sounds good these are fine.

These headphones have very good sound quality for the price. I have a set of more expensive over ear headphones and the sound quality of these studio headphones really aren't that far off. The only real disadvantages of these headphones is that they don't have noise cancellation, they need to be plugged in to be used, and the earpads are kind of awkwardly circular rather than a more ear fitting design. That being said, they don't cause great discomfort, even after being worn for hours in a row. Since they are studio headphones it is expected they would need to be plugged in to be used. The headphones themselves are lightweight, which is actually nice if you're planning on using them for long periods of time. I think the design of the earpads unfortunately allows sound to leak out, which might be annoying to those within your immediate vicinity. However, I think the price is fair for these headphones as premium quality studio headphones can cost hundreds of dollars. These are likely a good pair of headphones for those who mix music at home, or those who prefer wired headphones. This is nice pair of headphones if you're not looking to break the bank. These headphones might be a better deal in the $30-40 range.
