This material is definitely high-grade when you go to melt it with a lighter. It melts pretty evenly.

This black 1” heavy duty nylon webbing strap isn’t what I was looking for to use for tote bag handles. The main product photo makes it look like the webbing is more textured and thicker than it really is. The webbing is pretty smooth and feels silky kind of like a car seat belt, or thicker ribbon. It does feel strong, though.I make tote bags for my music students, as well as sell online, and used this webbing for a bag I made yesterday. It looks nice and sewed well but isn’t going to work out for future bags. When the tote bag is loaded with books and starts getting heavy, the strap kind of digs into the hand.This webbing doesn’t iron well, it gets stiff and starts to harden and gets shiny & plastic-y feeling.This strap could work well for other things, though.

Very stiff and hard to work with. While it is fuschia color which implies using for things like bags and fashion bags, it is so rugged and stiff that it is difficult to work with and not at all comfortable to use for handles or straps.
