I bought this based on the ratings of others. it's perfect! I would be great for travelling. You can charge two batteries and once, which is really helpful. The USB-C port is great, so much better than any other USB ports. Highly recommended. (Not I was a photojournalist - retired - who travelled around the world several times. I wish I had this on those trips!

Giant nope for on this charger, I tried to like it but it's not going to work for me.Things I like:1. Magnetic lid latches nice, but wiggles2. Batteries are easy to insert and removeThings I did not like:1. It's impossible to get the SD cards out even with longer fingernails. They are wedged in tight and the sides of the lid make it almost impossible to get an angle on them to get them out.2. It's bulky, while fine on a desk when packing in a bag the charging case is a horrible shape to pack in battery/stuff pouches/pockets.3. The screen is very small. The charging indicator is hard to see the small yellow charge icon on the green battery blend together and make it hard to see. Also the voltage font is really hard to read unless it's in hand.4. I have noticed a significant reduction in battery life when using this case. My reliable charger will take an additional 15-20 min to top off a battery after it's charged in this case.I have been a photographer for 35 years it's my hobby and my work, I've owned 5 different camera systems and currently use Sony a7rv.

Charger works great for me and my FX30. I love that it protects my batteries at lets me know their voltage with a push of the button on the front. Thats a win across the board so I dont have to guess with all my different batteries. Charging works well and I personally appreciate that it shows the battery's voltage vs. just some bar showing a percentage. My favorite charger so far out of all the chargers I have. Great value.

I use this with my A7R4 batteries. I only use Sony brand batteries, and this seems to charge them quite well. The batteries are a tight fit, but they slide in and out of the case without any problem. The lid opens and closes nicely even with two batteries inside. I haven't tested how long it takes to charge a battery when compared to the single battery charger that comes with the camera, but this doesn't charge noticeably slower. Plus, this will charge two batteries at once, which is very helpful for me because I use two different Sony camera bodies when I travel. The charger came with a USB C cable that is nice but very short, and unfortunately there is no power block. The charger has slots to carry two SD and two micro SD cards. While this might be nice, I don't know many people who actually use these SD card slots in a charging case. Those cards can be delicate and the contents can be important, so I prefer to carry my SD cards in a separate case that offers more protection. But you might find this case useful for a spare SD cards for emergencies. The charger has a LED display showing how much power each battery has, and the level appears to be rather accurate. I also appreciate how light the case is, which makes is good for travel. Keep in mind, this case is not a battery itself and it will need to be plugged in in order to charge a battery. Overall, I'm very pleased I picked this up.

This charger is not that much larger than the two batteries that it accommodates. While it does not have a built in power bank, it easily connects to an appropriate size power adapter or a power bank to keep your batteries fully charged. The advantage here is that it is compact and light. Certainly the most compact charger I own so it has a permanent position in my travel kit. The display is clear and bright so you can easily see how depleted or charging state of the batteries you are charging. Lid has spots for additional SD and Mini SD cards. If you need a portable charger, this is one you need to consider.

The ZGCINE PS-FZ100 Dual USB-C charging case for Sony Z-type batteries has been super helpful with the way I charge my batteries. I’m a wedding photographer and I rock a dual camera setup. During wedding season I’ll often have back-to-back days of shooting where having to charge a ton of batteries at night is a pain. This charging case allows me to keep my batteries “topped up”.Examples of how I use this charging case:1. Shot groom getting ready and bridal party portraits, and I’m headed to the ceremony location. I will pop fresh batteries into my camera bodies, and insert the moderately discharged batteries into the charging case. The charging case will be in my car plugged into either my car’s USB ports, or a large battery.2. I keep a USB battery bank, and this charging case in my camera bag. During lulls in the wedding/event I can deposit discharged batteries in the case, and insert fully charged batteries into my camera body. I will do this before ceremonies or right before the “grand entrance” since those are long stretch’s of shoot where I can’t easily swap batteries without fear of missing a shot. Before during a full wedding day I’ll often end up with 3-5 batteries that need charging. With this case that ends up being 1-2 batteries that need charging. I won’t have to worry about charging everything till the weekdays. The benefit of this charger versus the many others I have:1. It has a lid! The batteries are in there in are not going to pop out while I’m driving or while they are in my bag. I know that after a couple of hours of batteries in this case they will be topped up.2. It has a very reliable gauge. I’m typically very good about separating my fully charged batteries from my discharged batteries, but wedding photographers get paranoid. It’s trivially easy to just pop batteries in and out of the case to check their status. The case doesn’t need to be plugged to do this, just pop in a battery in and it will have a charge bar and voltage. No more relying on a red/green light and waiting a few minutes to see if my batteries are charged.Negatives:1. It’s a tight fit. I have labels on the sides of my batteries and the labels are just thick enough for the batteries to not slide in and out easily. I’m switching to putting labels on the bottom of my batteries.2. If your batteries have swollen at all they will not fit in this case. They actually can get stuck in the case and require a little force to remove. Turns out I had one battery that was slightly swollen and this case is how I found out. I’m happy to discover I had a failing battery before it caused issues during a shoot, but it was tight pulling it out.Weird:1. This case has card slots for storage. I will never use this case for media storage. I feel like the case could have been a little smaller if those weren’t there.Technical details: I’m seeing this case use 9 volts , 1.5 amps, and 13.5 watts while charging.Included photos are of the ZGCINE PS-FZ100 Dual USB-C Charger in my fully loaded Thing Tank Retrospective shoulder bag, my Think Tank Urban Access 15, and the center console of my car.
