I used this with my Hoover SmartWash Pet Automatic Carpet Cleaner (FH53050). I didn't dilute it, just put the shampoo straight in the solution tank. I used some pretreatment in some spots, but even in the spots I didn't the shampoo cleaned quite well. I'll use this or possibly try the commercial version at some point moving forward.

I recently tried the Zep carpet cleaner, and I have to say, it's a game-changer! This product works wonders on tough stains and leaves my carpets looking brand new. The formula is powerful yet gentle, effectively removing dirt, grime, and even those stubborn pet stains.One day, my dog decided to take a dump on our carpet, and the mess sat there for at least 12 hours. It really sunk into the carpet. I put this Zep cleaner into my Shark carpet cleaner and was amazed at how it sucked it all up and removed the stain. By far the best carpet solution ever!One of the best features is how easy it is to use. Just spray it on the affected area, let it sit for a few minutes, and then blot or scrub away the stain. The results are impressive, and my carpets have never looked better.The scent is also a pleasant surprise. It leaves a fresh, clean smell without being overpowering. Plus, the large bottle ensures that I have plenty of product to tackle any future messes.Overall, I highly recommend the Zep carpet cleaner. Works great.. smells nice, but it's subtle. Not overpowering at all. Great quantity for the price but I'll stick to the smaller, big brand "pet" shampoo based off scent.

I ordered this on a whim. We moved into a trailer that i’m not sure they ever cleaned the floors. i’ve been using hoover products and decided to try this since my husband says they use it on his job sites. I do have animals and a child and he works in construction so our floors go through it. Our cats have their own room and have stank up the floor. Using this ONCE made the room tolerable to go into without holding my breath. I used it in the rest of the house and it has a light lemon scent and cleans way better than expected. I’m gonna be adding Zep products to my cleaning arsenal. It doesn’t even boast stain removal but it’s lightened up areas near our air intake that had dirt embedded and i thought was stained beyond cleaning. it’s night and day difference

This product cleans carpets and upholstery like crazy,and leaves everything smelling so clean and fresh,not perfumy..gets pet stains out very well.Highly recommended to pet owners
