I have been shopping for a Backplate and Wing setup and have seen the XDeep brand all over Europe. It's a Quality tech style BCD for anyone wanting to get into a Backplate and Wing setup at a price much less than the competition in the US. I have about 10 dives on it and love it. Comfortable and well-made. Perfect for recreational or tech diving. This setup comes with a fully assembled minimalistic DIR style harness.

I bought the xDeep Zeos backplate and wing system to replace my fifteen year old jacket style BCD.The Zeos came assembled which was nice for never having set one up before. I was able to disassemble it step by step and understand how it all came together. As a DIR style one-piece belt, I had to adjust it to fit me and adjust where I want the D-rings to sit.The brand new belt is stiff but softens after a few dives. It also stretches overtime so it's advisable to tuck away excess webbing instead of cutting it off after your first adjustment.Some divers online have complained the Zen and Ghost wings are huge. Fortunately, the Zeos wing is a great size. The whole set up feels great in the water once set up. I still have some small adjustments to make but those are expected the first few pool dives.The weight pockets attached easily and provide additional attachment points. In addition, the backplate has several unused holes to mount trim weight pockets and other accessories.I'm travelling to Mexico and can't wait to use this set up. It's lightweight despite not being a "travel" bc and compacts very well in a hardshell suitcase.
