I wish I had this in my life sooner. I HATE plastic liners, they touch me and never seem clean. This works beautifully. Does retain a little water though as it is a fabric but dries quick.

This is a shower liner which looks good enough to use by itself, and is also machine washable. The magnets on the bottom of each end work well, so far. We'll see how well the machine washable part works, and if the magnets rust (a common flaw), but for right now, this is the best shower curtain I've owned.

The price of this shower curtain is hard to beat. It is economical enough to purchase another one when it gets mildew stains that won't come clean when it is put into the washing machine.However, the water-repellency is marginal. There are very fine droplets or mist on the rim of my bathtub that have obviously come through the curtain after I shower. This is not a huge problem for me, but just be aware. I like the fabric-look rather than a plastic liner, so it is something that I live with.

I've been using Maytex curtain liners for many years and the quality has always been incredible for the price. But no longer. They've made drastic and unmistakable cuts to quality in every aspect of this curtain liner which now wouldn't qualify as a good value if you bought it at a 99 cent store.Here's how bad it was: I was convinced that I must have bought it by mistake from a third party seller, instead of direct from Amazon, and received counterfeit goods instead. So I checked my order and... nope! It was purchased from and shipped by Amazon. So this is the "real" curtain liner. Here's what changed:• Metal support grommets eliminated where shower rings attach--now it's just slits in the fabric.• Much thinner, lighter and more sheer fabric allows water to penetrate easily.• Fewer and weaker magnets in the bottom hem no longer hold the curtain liner securely to the tub.The result of these cost and quality slashing changes is that you're constantly battling this soaked liner as it billows out against you while you try to shower. Meanwhile. Amazon continues to sell this as if it's the same liner it was, and at the same price. It's not. My last order for this Maytex liner will be my LAST order for one.

Tired of washing clear vinyl inside shower-liners I thought I'd to give this a try. ARRIVAL: Certainly looked and felt nice. USE: I used it inside tub without my outer dress-curtain; water does "escape" outside the tub; there was a mess of water outside on the side of the tub and on the floor - understand it wasn't a flood, just a mess I didn't want to clean it up ever day. I was going to return it; it should have been a lot more water resistant. BUT: then I thought before returning right away, why not try two of them, back to back, as a doubled-up inside liner. EUREKA: total solution. No water outside the tub and when time comes I can throw both in the washer. No more vinyl. The "star" rating I gave here was based upon using just one, not using two.

This Maytex Water-Repellent Fabric Shower Curtain Liner with Weighted Hem is made of Soft Microfiber, that seems to be Quick Drying, and hopefully Washable.It has added a touch of class to my ancient, non-updated bathroom. My old plastic liner always made me feel like I was showering at a truck stop. Now I feel like I am showering at a nice mid-level hotel.To reduce, Reuse, & Recycle I am using my old plastic liner to keep some firewood dry. It will be interesting to see what happens to it once it freezes.OK, I have to stop now, it is time for breakfast. Hope you all have a great day and just buy this liner.

Tengo seis meses con esta cortina, el color es muy bonito, si repele el agua (no en su totalidad, pero cumple su función).Desde que la recibí la coloqué, y no he tenido la necesidad de cambiarla, su limpieza es súper práctica, en la parte de abajo se ensucia pero cada vez que lavo el baño, en un vaso de yogurt de litro pongo agua, un poco de cloro y detergente, la dejo remojando unos cinco minutos y de ahí la tallo tantito, listo, como nueva.La recomiendo ampliamente.

Good quality shower curtain. It contains magnets at the bottom to secure it to a metal tub. Even if you don’t have a magnetic tub, the magnets weigh it down enough that it doesn’t lift up during a draft caused by the shower.
